So I don't actually have much at all to go on, but I'm posting this in the hopes that someone will be able to help! The song I am thinking of is a sort of sad indie song, I think, with a male singer. The only line I remember is something about how he wishes that he and whoever it is he is singing to had grown up in the same neighborhood as children (I think an age difference is implied). I associate the song with Steve Burns's music, but I know he isn't the artist. Unfortunately I don't remember the tune, so websites like Midomi won't help. I would appreciate any guesses so so so much!
Can you remember any of the lyrics by any chance?
Hi guys! I had forgotten I'd even made this post until I got a notification just now! Since then I've figured out what song I was thinking of. It was The Luckiest, by Ben Folds. I misremembered this part:
"What if I had been born fifty years before you In a house on the street where you lived Maybe I'd be outside as you passed on your bike. Would I know? And in a wide sea of eyes I see one pair that I recognize And I know..."
Thanks so much for helping!
