Gone for so long...

(Hopefully this is the appropriate forum to put this in, apologies if it is not.)
So, I thought that I have been gone for maybe only roughly a year until I decided to look at my dashboard, in which I found out that I have apparently been a member for 6 years. Which makes me think back, and I believe I have been gone for two or three years.
I was never really social on sites like this since I am very introverted, but I wanted to give being at least semi-social a try. I guess since I started the topic with how long I have been gone, perhaps I can start a conversation with: What is the longest you have ever taken a break from a game/site, or what games/sites are you constantly leaving and coming back to?
I personally am usually on/off with sites like this, primarily because it is a social networking site (for lack of a better term that I can think of, unless that is the term... ) and as I stated earlier I am introverted, and don't like to talk much. But I tend to come back to Subeta, or at least check in on it a lot, cause I like the design of the NPC's and pets. I am also a sucker for some of the clothes, and the fact that everything is unisex. Anyways, I am going to stop before I start rambling too much.
hi, how are you doing? I'm not always the most social person on here either. But I try sometimes xD I think the only other game I leave and come back to is neopets and that's mostly just to log in so I don't lose my accounts. I really like the pet art on this site, as well as the avatar art. :)
Hi! I'm similar. Also an introvert, and for a while on subeta I just wasn't active on the forums. I wasn't particularly active for my first year, then took a hiatus of probably a year, and since then I've taken hiatuses multiple times, sometimes up to a year again. I definitely go through phases of not being interested in subeta, but I always come back. Partly because my sister also has an account, so we sort of egg each other on.
The other game that I used to go back to (but haven't in, oh, 5 years) is Diablo II, heh. I used to take breaks from that for well over a year, sometimes 2 or 3, but would feel the pull of it and return. If I still had a working desktop I'd probably go back, or even try out Diablo III, but I doubt I will.

Welcome back! The only full hiatus I took was when I first joined the site, and it was only for about two months I think. Back then, I took the break because I hadn't found a site feature I liked yet, but eventually I came back because other pet sites were just unbearable. Upon a second glance, I became interested in the pet aspect on subeta, and couldn't stay away ever since. So I don't really see subeta as a social site, but rather a creative platform.
Though there's definitely a social aspect to subeta, and I'm not very sociable either. But I can talk quite a bit if I bump into the right person who shares similar views and interests. So I would suggest posting a bit on the forum, especially on the topics you like. I did make a few very good friends throughout the years in that way, and besides my pets, they are the reasons for me to not take long breaks <3.

I'm not introverted, but I can relate to you because I hardly ever use the Forum feature of the sites I use. I only started reading the forums last year on another pet site I visit, and since them I mostly stalk Subeta's forums, but I hardly talk. When it comes to breaks, thou, Subeta must be the longest one to date I still visit. My account is nearly 5 years old, but I can shrink my actual active time to 2 years and some months because of the long breaks I take. I think I just lose interest on things very quickly, and I need new things to try on a constant basis or my brain will have fits of boredness. On a sidnote, your username is very amusing //shot
