I love this new backdrop, but however it doesn't seem to be programmed like a normal backdrop. For one, when you look at the preview for most backdrops, you usually see the silhouette of the human avatar. But for this one, you don't. When I try to use it, it makes my human avatar's skin transparent.

Are you using the normal wardrobe or the beta wardrobe? For backgrounds like this, you need to use the beta wardrobe so you can layer your HA's skin in front of the background.

If your issue is that you're using the beta wardrobe and layering correctly but your HA looks like just an outline, try hard refreshing (ctrl+f5). That's worked for me in the past.

If neither of these is your issue, could you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

I tried the beta wardrobe and it seems to work if I put it beneath the base layer. It's still strange, however. What's the difference between this background and conventional ones? Every other backdrop in my wardrobe works when I layer them ON TOP of the base layer, but this one, when layered the same way, makes my HA transparent; in fact, all of their previews show a naked human avatar in front, except the preview of this one doesn't show anything at all.

This is how the new backgrounds are designed, they don't have an HA cutout and are exclusively for the beta wardrobe. Another version of the no cutout bg is and a bg with the cutout is

You can see the difference clearly.

The other backgrounds essentially have a cutout in them in the shape of the HA body, because they were made before the beta wardrobe existed. But now that the HA body is its own layer, the cutouts are no longer necessary. That way, it's possible to create avatars that don't actually have a human body in them -- like mine!

When you look at the preview of an item, it always shows the item layered on top of the HA body. But recently there's been a lot of items that look like they cover up the HA body, but are actually meant to be layered behind it. Or, sometimes it's versatile and looks good in front of OR behind the HA body. Again, it's partly for the sake of being able to create avatars that don't have a human body in them. It's really fun to play with layers!

Locking since this is not a bug but its intended style. Please use the beta wardrobe for these backgrounds.
