I've been dimly aware of the Oracle Token Shop for a while, but my attention was called towards it recently, and thought it might be time to try my luck. However:

Oh, superb! Subeta midnight is 5am for me. So I (and many others) are excluded from using this on the basis of it's very limited timing, unless we want to get up very early (I love you, Subeta, but not that much). I've always appreciated the Subeta is generally very accommodating to different time zones, and this seems like a reasonable oversight in light of that. I get that the OTS is a bit "lesser" these days, not being on the map and all, but it is still functioning and certainly well used, so it's not obsolete by any means.

Maybe restocks could be randomised, allowing for more equality of opportunity (and some small amount of community building with a corresponding ping group). Alternatively, the stock could be split between 2/3/4 set times throughout the day, keeping the air of the regimented stocking time it already has.

There was also a call for more outlets for token spending, and this seems like as good a feature as any. I will happily spend my tokens, you just have to let me.

I think it actually does restock more, because I've caught stock from there at 5PM Subeta time (so 10PM for me). It doesn't seem to be worth it, however.

It's not very user friendly for me, either, because I'm in England. I think it would be a good idea to revise it.

Huh, that's interesting. All the information I've managed to find about it only said midnight. I'll be sure to keep a look-out. :)

I think it used to be midnight, back when he was a big thing. Now I think it's just a random thing.

I think it is still midnight - let's be honest, it hasn't been touched since I joined the site - but before the subq revelation the stock sat there as most of it is overpriced junk and it isn't even on a map.

I think there's a reason why they took it down from the maps.. so I don't think they'll touch it or something..

"Restocking randomly with wizard tokens" sounds like BHH to me.

Can we just remove it from the site already, there is nothing this does that anything else already on site can't do.

Lets not remove it - lets put specific items in it that will get some of the tokens out of the economy - Like wearables. Two goddesses just got amazing revamps and lots of people have been vocal about wanting clothing items from them. Draw them. Chuck them in. Add more mystical lore items and give some back story to the characters. Its a good token sink, but its not being utilized. Also, I dont think 50% of the site is even aware it exists. I know I have only thought/visited 2-3 times in 8 years.

A token sink that stocks once at midnight is not a good sink.

I'd rather have the items in the token shop.

Oracle Token Shop is a relic from the past where Oracle Tokens were actually a thing, and now, it's overshadowed by other site features. We already have two token sinks : Token Shop and BHH. Plus vending. Plus the zapper. We're good for token sinks.

I think Oracle TS is the weakest link.

Sorry - I also meant to randomly stock it. Give it 50 new items have it stock 5 times a day 3-5 things. No limit like the BHH and Token shop. YOu just have to be on at the right time.

Ok - yes, we have token sinks. But clearly they aren't working if the majority of people I discuss tokens with have more than 10k. Thats maddness.

I... had no idea this existed. I got all excited when I saw the title of this, but the shop itself is pretty disappointing. So it's like the Hustler in that you don't know what you're getting?

I also would want it to stock a bit more... maybe every six hours starting at midnight, so everyone has a chance to grab something from it. I wouldn't want it to be removed tho, since it has potential and with a bit revamp here and there, you can actually have a nice token input later. With restocking changes/fixes/whatever, someday we'll surely have a conversation about vending and if this ever gets removed, restricted or in another way revamped, we need more token sinks instead of just the Token Shop and BHH.

Wow no. Because that's one more thing I don't want to worry about. And as it is, it's random boxes. You literally have no idea what you're getting. I really don't want to throw tokens at things that I can't see. That's not how I play this game. I don't like chance, esp on this site.
