I think that Main shops and Pawn shop items that are in stock and for sale in Search Shops should rotate with User Shop prices so that the cheapest, no matter where it comes from is at the top of the list.

So many times I am on a quest and automatically click the first item in shop search to buy an item from either the main shops or the pawn shop even though it's not the cheapest option but faster than taking the time to scan down the list to see if user shops are cheaper (which they are a LOT of the time).

I understand that you want people to buy from main shops/pawnshop as an sp sink. However the really cheap items need to be bought up and used as well. Getting excess items out of the system is important too. I think this would also help balance the system faster since the code was tweaked/created to not stock items in main shops that aren't bought from main shops after a certain amount of time.

Also, users need to be able to sell their items that they get from restocking/questing/vending and even a little tiny profit is better than no profit at all.

No thanks. Iif you can't be assed to check the price on what you're buying, then that's on you.

I agree it's my fault for automatically clicking the first one. However, I still think Main Subeta shops should rotate UNDER lower priced user shops items and give actual USERS priority in the Shop search.

Or code them to where they don't even show up if they aren't the actual lowest price.

I don't support this.

As for myself, I know in most cases shop prices are pretty darn close and the price difference is not so great as the protential reward for any quest that I think is worth doing. So if I brainless-autmatic-buy, I do it from the upper-middle of the list.

I do not agree with any entitlement to sell-for-profit. Just because you happen to have some item doesn't mean someone else or the site should be forced to pay more for it than you did. Vending is a risk.

If you can't sell it at profit, fragmentize the item. Humming Power Crystals are worth 5KsP, so even at the lowest return of one in six, no restockable item anywhere is worth less than 800sP and this is more than the NPC shop price for many items.

No. Bad idea in my opinion. Main and Pawn shops should remain on top as the "Site" shop. Keeps things consistent.

Like my HA?

Is there some custom CSS solution that could be used to change the colour of the NPC and pawn shop rows on the shop search? There is some colour differentiation there, but not much. I know being able to tell the difference at a glance would be of some help to me, at least. (I tried to do it myself, but I'm a bag of butts at CSS, so naturally it didn't work).

I don't think we need this. Is there not enough of a color difference between user shops and npc shops? I've never had a problem, but other people don't have my eyeballs. And I'm about as unobservant and click-happy as they come.

Even if the base price isn't the lowest price, that shop discount buff is pretty common and often makes buying from the npc shops cheaper than the user shops.

Strongly disagree. I prefer having Subeta shops (NPC or pawn) at the top of the list.

To change the color of the line in front you can use this, just change the hex color to whatever you want. You could also make the line thicker by making the 2px a bigger number, or make a box completely around the row by changing 0px to 2px. .ui.table tr.warning, .ui.table td.warning { -webkit-box-shadow: 2px 0px 0px inset; box-shadow: 2px 0px 0px inset; }

Or to add a color to the rows you can use the following, just change the red (for the box color) and the White (for the text color) to whatever colors you like. .ui.table tr.warning td, .ui.table td.warning, .ui.table th.warning { background-color: red !important; color: white !important; }

I also disagree. What if you want to buy items from Main Shops on purpose for the sake of an achievement? And what if you simply want to know which main shop an item restocks in?

The only change to shop search along those lines that I would approve of would be having it always list which shop something restocks in, and if it's not in stock, maybe have it highlighted gray instead of pinkish-orangish and don't show a buy button.

but what about discount cards and discount buffs?

if the prices are close enough to where you dont see an obvious price differential, it's cheaper in the main shop.

if items become cheap enough someone will buy them up and frag them or RB will cycle through.

Uh no. Don't support.

It takes literally 2 seconds to check if the pawn shop/main shops are cheaper than user shops. It would be a total mess if they just made the cheapest at the top. I also would assume it would be super glitchy in the beginning.
