Hi guys!
I've been away from subeta for a fairly long hiatus, and I'm consequently having a hard time wrapping my head around the changes that have occurred as well as the new weapons floating around. I've been trying to do my research but there's so much out there and I'm often using subetalodge for info about weapons but I suspect it's out of date (for example: pretty sure the prodigy staff has been downgraded?)
My pet's stats are: Level: 536 Health: 1334 / 1334 Strength: 1336 Defense: 1336 Speed: 1316 Intelligence: 865
My current set is: Malice Mighty Kora Gauntlet Prodigy Staff Reviver of the lion Acorn Bomb Phoenix Quill Recycle Blaster Soma tablets
I also have a blessed trident of the banished one, chancellor's war shield, infinite, sentinal, truth serum and the one ring in my armoury but I've not been overly sure about what is worth swapping out for what.
Any suggestions for what I should be investing in (bearing in mind I'm hoping to move up tiers pretty soon so don't want to lay down a massive amount for something I could replace with something better in a short space of time)? Or what I should be moving around?
Scrolls are also doing my head in. I currently have a cobalt eternal, holy deluge and diamond edge equipped. I also have access to a lucent barrier, melting eclipse and corroding dew scroll. Again, any suggestions for investments/swaps?
Thanks so much in advance! Really appreciate any feedback :D

I'd swap the Gauntlet for the Trident as it scales with your pet.
Scroll wise. Holy Deluge is good but I suggest trying to make a Terra Focujin. It takes up less AP and heals the same, just doesn't do water/light icons only a few earth.
One or two more Cobalts can come in handy as well.
Thanks very much! I'll definitely get on that. I was actually wondering about whether or not the Terra Focujin would be worthwhile so that's a big help ^_^

Deluge does come in handy when you need extra water icons later on down the road but other then that Terra Focujin is pretty good long term.
Agree about swapping the Trident in for the Gauntlet. As it continues to scale with your pet's tier you will notice how awesome it is. Still one of my preferred weapons at Tier 13! (really steps up at Tier 9 and Tier 10)
Prodigy Staff you will be finding underwhelming right now because it scales with your strength and defense. Currently does 25 icons. Then at 1600+ strength it does 25-34 icons. Then at 2000+ it does 33-40 icons. If you want an immediate upgrade the Large Gutting Knife is pretty good but as you said you are planning on moving up tiers quickly it's probably not needed. You can stick with the P-Staff.
Would be useful to get a full blocker like Rainbow Vortex or Shinwas Temple Shard. You can swap them in or out of your set depending on the opponent. Useful for sure.
Instead of the Terra Focujin I would look at Aftershocks Scroll. Around the same price. These are the stats so you can compare and see which suits you best.
Aftershocks Scroll (15 AP) Attack: 10 Earth, 6 Magma, 6 Physical Defense: 7 Earth, 5 Physical, 5 Dark Heal: 7%
Holy Deluge (20 AP) Attack: 4 Light, 4 Water Defense: 3 Fire, 3 Earth Heal: 10%
Terra Focujin (8 AP) Attack: 4 Earth Heal: 10%
@ daley
Might want to consider getting a
Aftershock scroll (its probably one of the best all purpose scrolls for the money at the moment) 7% heal, 22 icon damage, 17 icon block, but you have to weigh the 3% less heal vs holy deluge (for most, it's not noticeable)
cough i can sell you one cough
other than that weapons wise, you might want to consider investing in the heavy duty ones (t11+) if youre gonna move up quickly.
And consider full blockers if you afford one/two.
Your weapons right now seem fine to me, but someone who has uses a t8 might be a little more helpful
EDIT:
dammit, ^^he beat me to it.
Thank you both very much for all that! That explains so much re: the prodigy staff. Worth hanging onto for future then but I will go ahead and swap it out in the interim. And I will look into a total blocker to add to the armoury ^_^ As far as the scrolls go, I can't imagine the 3% being a large enough difference. I think I will look into the aftershocks scroll. I'll shoot you a comment later Andrew ;D
Which heavy duties do you think are worth the investment Andrew? May as well get a start on saving now.

I always think it's tricky to give advice in the higher tiers, since the weapons that are good depend a bit more on the opponent that you're trying to defeat. It's maybe a bit far away, but depending on how fast you plan to go up tiers: For tier 11, I myself like the Malignant Rift Staff a lot. Though I don't think a lot of people are using it. The Paintbrush Blades are a really nice tier 11 starting weapon. Your Trident will also still be doing good at tier 11 I guess. The Swashbuckle is relatively cheap right now, but it's more or less doing the same as the Trident, so you'll have to compare them yourself and decide whether you want to grab it or not.
Thanks ! I actually already have a malignant rift staff so that's nice to hear ;D I'll have a look at the others you suggested. I was just trying to look up the stats of the swashbuckle and realised I was comparing it to the stats of the trident of the banished one, as opposed to the blessed trident facepalm I was momentarily very confused there. At Tier 11, they probably are a bit too close to be worth dropping the money on. The paintbrush blades look good though, will definitely invest in them! Thank you!

@ daley
high leveled heavy duty weapons are
Natasha (t11) Ether (t11) Manifesting Weapon (t12) Maniacal Essence (t11) Ornamented Hook Swords (t10) Dark Goddess Rod (t10) Swashbuckle (t11) Cronus Blade (t12 - but you should just earn your own when you can)
These are the ones that are cheaper than 1bil, though i might be forgetting some. The usefulness will change depending on if new opponents are released or there are new weapons that come out.
if you can complete BQs consistently, your weapon set is good enough. The benchmark is usually beating prodigy.
To Survivor: i aint no twin
Thank you for that! That gives me plenty to aim for. It'll be a long time before I'm there but at least I can set some goals accordingly (and adjust as needed with new opponent releases etc). I can only dream of beating prodigy - but definitely setting that goal ;)
