I went for it, and this is what happened...

96: 1.4 mil 97: 1.7 mil 98: 3 mil 99: 1.5 mil (only 1 in shops...that was close!) 100: 80k (wow, what?)

I did it! I actually managed to do it! :O And I spent maybe...10 mil total? Wow.

You're welcome :) I have spent BILLIONS trying to get the achievement and last time I lost on level 100. Can I ask how much the most expensive item was you had to buy?

This time it was the bonfire beanbag I mentioned in the post above, which was only 3 mil, so I was very lucky. I was also lucky that there was one Neela plushie available for sale, and that it was decently priced. If that plushie hadn't been for sale, I would've had to quit on level 99. I often had to quit because Chase was asking for 5m+ items on level 60 though, and there were times where I took the gamble and went for it, only to fail several levels later, where he asked for 100m+ items, unbuyables, or retired items that were nowhere to be found.

Thanks for the info :) I was doing levels 70-75 today and had to buy a beanbag that cost 11 million The last time I tried item hunt one of the items he asked for was 400 million. Hopefully this time I will be able to complete the game for the achievement :)
