Are all the places on Subeta eventually going to be like Sacred Lands and have a nightime look?
This is more of a question rather than feedback.
But I don't know. I don't know what the art department has planned. Maybe? Honestly with all the pets that need revamps, I'm hoping theat they finish the lands that don't have maps (If there are any at this point?) and work on pets.

- Yes, eventually I'd like for all outside Subeta maps to have night versions. They'll be introduced a little at a time :)

but what use is the map if all the shops are on the ugly main shop page

I don't think they are planning to make new ones. (I think lower west side Centropolis and Omen Islands are missing? We have the Port Plunder though)
And regarding the maps, I really like the idea. I loved how the Shadowglen map changed over the day when it was released, and won't say no to nighttime maps. It's a nice detail.
