hmm… the custom wearable rules forbid facial features, but i'm not sure if these would count or if they could be considered something else. i would file a ticket to find out if it's allowed.

if it turns out they are allowed, then i would recommend making a minor adjustment. because the avatar is posed at a 3/4 angle, the right eye (viewer's left) is further away from the viewer than the left eye. therefore, the right eye (viewer's left) should be positioned a little higher and slightly smaller than the left eye. also i would suggest scooching both eyes a little to the left, as currently they aren't quite positioned where actual eyes would be located on the avatar base. i prefer the lineless version, and i think that would be acceptable because this could be considered an "aura" type of item—they seem to just be reflected light, not a corporeal object, so i don't see why it should need an outline. however, they handle these things on a case-by-case basis so there is no guarantee.

again, though, the first thing you ought to do is file a ticket asking whether this item would be acceptable or whether it's considered a facial feature.

thanks a lot for your input!

I personally very much dislike when the left eye is higher than the right one, it doesn't feel like "perspective" to me, but perhaps making it a tad smaller yes. Altho, this would apply to actual eyes, whereas this is just some sort of comic thing, like an emote, from mangas, so usually even when the character is slightly turned, it doesn't affect the symetry of the stars. I will def. try making it smaller and see if it looks better!!

As far as placement goes, I am wearing the Horns And Roses gold eyes thinger right now and when I put my layers at 50% over it, it's right on. So I will try it with a combination of other eyes, to see what happens yes! I think it's a matter of not where the eye itself is, but the pupil. I noticed some eyes in Subeta seem to "look straight at the camera" (if you know what I mean lol) and some sort of not.

For the outline, I thought about something, and will try it! You know those signs for the forehead, that glow... Can't remember the CW name right now but, if I remeber correctly, their outline is really thin and matches the color of the item, rathee than black, so perhaps this would fit better her! Like you said, I have hopes this would be considered aura-ish so should be good to go.

Finally, yeah I hope these are not considered "eyes" per say, I'd be devastated! Because they are really not, it should be considered an add-on, like a make-up, or a pair of glasses, or those forehead lights, etc.! Maybe I could make them slightly transparent to reflect that matter!

Again thanks so much for taking the time to give me constructive critism and suggestions, greatly appreciated! :3

I'm also not certain it would be accepted, simply because it covers the eyes - if anything though, you could just cutout the shape of the eyes (but then it'd defeat the purpose of the glowing -over- the eyes as opposed to -under- ;; )

Possibly you could reduce the opacity so that you can still somewhat see the eye behind. I don't know if it'd be accepted, but atleast you'd still see the basic features behind as opposed to not at all.

I much prefer without the outlines, since it is a glow! And as suggested, you could tweak a bit the angle of (our) left diamond so that it reflects a 3/4 perspective! It doesn't have to be higher, just a bit smaller (it would actually be around the same central point as the right eye, which would make it aligned but smaller (gosh do I make sense, im sorry if im not! ;;;; )

So I got a response from the Ticket Center. They seemed unhappy that I asked, because they saw this as a pre-approval request :( I told them I was simply following your suggestion to verify with them and did not want approval or anything, was just checking.

They also told me the "nose" I want to make changes the avatar and that is not allowed... When I am not making a nose at all and never showed one? Haha! So I think overall there is confusion and going there for help is not the best idea/way to go.

So I will simply either not make the item, or will continue to work on it and once I think it's fine, submit it under face accessory and see where this goes.

I have created a bit of perspective now:

I like it a lot less this way but perhaps it has no choice to be like that to "fit" in.

Also pinging who seems to know quite a bit about this whole process!! :3

hmm yeah im not sure if they will approve of it since its basically like eyes and covers up majority of the eyes/glow is kinda hiding the nose for me. so yeah based off of that, probably not but i do admit your edit is better. However, i do have a loop hole and not even sure it will work, but good to try anyways if your really into the item..

we have moon wearable items such as this one on a transparent backdrop and also on the backdrop/semi backdrop option you can opt over the avatar or behind. of course you might have to add other stars maybe minor ones and the leave the two as they are..and layer it on top to give the affect that you wish...

by technical standards, they would have no reason to deny it since there are similar items onsite, as a special effect you get away with more. not sure if this would work but its a lot better then submitting it as a face item!
