I'm wondering if anyone else does this. When I do my questing, I don't always buy from the first result in the Search Shops results. If I see the same shop popping up at the top all the time, I try to spread my sP around a little so I might go to the second, or even third or fourth result. As long as the price is the same, I might even just pick a shop whose name I like.

So am I the only one?

I do the same thing. Try to spread the sP about a little bit.

If I'm buying more than one of an item, which I usually am, I'll just go with whatever shop has the most items first, then the second, etc, until I get everything under my budget

If the price is similar/the same, I'll choose shops at random too. Often ones I like the names of. :p

Usually, just because it's easier And becomes sometimes when I quest, I'm multitasking and I need to pay attention to the other thing too But I do pick a random one sometimes as long as they're all at the same price c:

I pretty much always buy from the first shop listed, mainly because I'm too lazy. :P

If I don't buy from the first shop, it would only to buy from someplace with a higher quantity so there are more shops who could autoprice to something lower if someone goes below the SS price.

I like to spread my sP around to the point that sometimes I'll pay slightly more for an item just to make sure it's going to a smaller shop.

I spread my sP around too. There are certain shops I don't buy from because I don't like their names (I know, I'm silly XD), and certain shops I always DO buy from because I'm friends with the owners or because I like the shop name. And I try to buy from shops that only have one of an item in stock unless I need multiples of an item.

I know it doesn't really make much of a difference to the shop owners since I only do this for questing and I'm not spending huge amounts... but it makes questing a little more interesting for me :)

I don't pay attention for the most part. When I am questing, I am just trying to do it as quickly as possible so I just click the first one. Just laziness. XD

the only time i don't necessarily buy from the first shop on the list is when i'm buying very very large quantities of something. i actually do the opposite of what others here have said they do; instead of buying from the shop with the largest quantity first, i buy from the shop with the smallest quantity and when i've bought out that shop's stock of the item, i move onto the shop with the next smallest quantity and so on until i've bought out every shop with the item at that price. then, depending on what the new lowest price is, i might continue this pattern until i've bought every one of that item below a certain price. but i don't do this often, as i generally don't buy in bulk - the last time i did this was to buy up tons of scratchcards for the sake of the achievements.

I tend to avoid buying from hoarders. If the first shop has 10 of an item and the second shop only has 1 then I'll buy from the second shop. I thinks that's a habit that I got into from when people would buy a ton of an item just to drive up the price. Personally I refuse to reward them for that.

If a bunch of shops are selling something for 499 and then a shop has the same item for 500, I'll buy from the 500 because the 499 annoys me. XD

I know that's silly but I can't stop, lol. If multiple stores have a nice even number, I'll go with lowest quantity, and if they all have 1, I'll look at names. o_o

I tend to just choose a shop at random if the prices are the same. Sometimes I will buy up from a shop with less in stock but usually I just grab from the first shop.

Same as others, if price is the same for the first shops, I click randomly, pretty much don't care.

Usually I'm questing when I buy those items. When I'm doing a shopping spree, I buy from shop with the lowest amount or pick the funniest shop name if the prices are the same :p

I'm not sure why, but if there's a group of shops with the item for the same price, I'll always pick the one nearest the top with the least amount of that item in stock. I'll actively avoid shops with lots of one item stocked, unless their price is much better than everyone else's. I intend to try and buy things from different locations, but I don't really pay attention to shop names, then get annoyed when I keep buying from the same places.

If I'm buying something really expensive, I might do a quick survey of the shops/owners with the lowest price to see who might need the sp the most.

If someone has multiple items and another shop has only one, I do not buy from the hoarders for whatever reason. Other than that, yea... for some reason I buy the top item, but usually it isn't the same shop featured. If there's three shops selling an item, I think it rotates them randomly so you can spread the sP around! :)
