I'm stuck on the battlequest, i've already skipped him twice...and I cannot beat him. help please?!

I have some spells, but I haven't spent a lot on them

Alright well you may want to get a Terra Focujin scroll for the added heal, it always comes in handy. With Gatekeeper he's very annoying. Make sure you have some parched baguette crystals on your weapons, when they activate you'll get an anti-freeze blessing up which can help you from getting frozen and knocked out. You'll want to try and keep him frozen as long as you can, now if you use your recycle blaster and it takes out his Possessed Bow it tends to make the batter go by so much faster as it won't make him heal so much.

Stock up on dark water/earth/magma potions and glaciating ones as well. It'll take some time but it is possible to beat him with your pet. I have a pet around the 1440's who can manage to squeak out a win every so often. So you surely can.

Yeah he has 4 freezers in his wake... but if your weapons can activate the blessing it's a real life saver.
