If I accept a battle quest and lose the battle, if I click the 'fight this opponent again' button, a subsequent win does not count as a completed battle quest. I.E. If I lose once to a challenger for a battle quest, I have to go back to the Battle Quest page and click 'challenge this opponent'.

thats because the link to fight an opponent for a battle quest is different than the link to fight an opponent regularly.

so the problem is that losing during battle quests takes you to a page not specifically made for battle quests. I know it's gone back and forth between having this page and having an essentially useless page in and outside of battle quests, which makes grinding wins extremely tedious. hopefully this gets solved but at least once you know the problem, you can avoid it.

Yeah it's been broken like that for a bit now. Clicking to challenge again puts you in an 'official' battle (meaning win/losses/ties count) and therefore it's not an actual quest battle. It would be nice if this was fixed.

Thanks ^_^ I've noticed this happening for a while now too, but today it finally became enough of a nuisance that I decided to report it. I poked around in the Bugs section but didn't find a similar thread which is surprising. This is a really bothersome glitch!! I too hope that it will be fixed soon

I had a feeling it was something like that! Battle quests are so totally different than other types of quests in that you can 'lose' without forfeiting the quest. Still I'm sure there is a way to fix this issue :) Go subeta team go!
