I feel silly posting this, but I just joined Subeta and so have no idea what all kinds of clothing items there are for the human avatars. I saw that I can look up clothes on SubetaLodge, but I don't want to have to sift through hundreds of pages of clothing if it can be helped.

I want to dress up my avatar so that it will look like a forest fey/woodland elf. What sort of clothing items could I use to achieve this look?

Clothing is a fun thing on here. If you wanted to preview what the items would look like, going to the Wardrobe (Beta is probably the best one to use right now) and select All Items on Subeta and also select No Custom Wearables. This way you will see all items on Subeta that are wearable. :)

As for a foresty/elf themed avatar. I would look up items with the words of forest, tree, green/emerald, elf or fairy. :)

Using keywords with the search feature on SubetaLodge and narrowing your field to clothing would be a good start. Vesnali is coming up next week and those wearables are perfect for your HA. Welcome to Subeta. :)

I found the easiest way to shop around is through the wardrobe Beta, then under filter press All items on Subeta, then search and done. You'll see all the clothes on Subeta :)

I am dressed up as a faerie too. What I like to do is comb the forums for nice items. When I see an item I like I visit there lookup. Some people let you see what there HA is wearing. I also visit my friends lookups too. You can visit mine and see what I mean. I always let people see what my HA is wearing. (click the item and it will bring it to search for you, then hit search and it will show you how much one costs)Its always under the HA if they allow it. Good luck!

Floral items are great for a fae look, as are long flowing items. Any color can be used for your goal but what may tip the scales in your favor for the look you are looking to achieve are pointed ears and/or faerie wings. There's quite the selection of wings on here now. Layering is your friend.
