A little discount buff weirdness

I don't know if this would be considered a bug, but I suspect this might not be intended.
I bought a couple of items from NPC shops for Wizard Quest. Searched for each item in separate tabs, which means I can be a bit too quick buying one item after the other. So of course I get the error for buying too quickly on the second item.
Aaaand I get the discount buff at the same time.
A little oversight, maybe? I thought the buff would only apply when an item was successfully bought, not on this error.

You mean the event for the buff came up on the error screen? I am sure the buff can show up on any page that comes after you click on an item to purchase. I can't see any harm in it coming up when you buy too quickly.

Yeah, right there. I got the error telling me I needed to wait to buy another item, and the buff activated at the same time. I thought it was kind of odd and should probably be reported.
