I made my avatar white and she is wearing either white, black or gray. What I need to know is if I can I dress in colorful clothes and use some item that filters what I have into gray scale. Any help greatly appreciated. Please ping me if you know.
Short answer: no.
A filter wouldn't be able to cover up the shades of the items enough to make your HA look completely black and white. for example, is sort of a sepia-toned filter, but if if I put it over my HA the blues still show through. The same would happen with something that was meant to be a black and white filter. There's the though that tints your HA greyish, but that's about as close as you're going to get from a filter, unfortunately (especially if you want non-CWs and/or only ones that will cover your entire HA since most fade in and out and a fair few of CW ones have the HA cutout as well)
Thanks. I will just have to dress in black, white, and gray while I am using this avatar.
- You could also try the liquid shadow items the Hustler gives out. I don't know if that's what you're looking for, but they're pretty affordable if you decide to use them.

The shadowing is great, but I noticed my default lipstick is still pink. I only want black, gray and white. Maybe I can I can request such an item in suggestions, but then again would that be too much for the artists? I would not want anyone to have to draw every item in gray scale. Then again if that one item up there can make everything sepia then why can't something else make them gray scale? Hmmm.
