Hi there! I just joined Subeta a few days ago and am still in the process of figuring this place out. I actually had a random urge to go back to Neopets after not playing for 12 years or so, but I just couldn't get back into it and decided to search for different pet sites instead. A few hours later, and I ended up here! I love the art of the pets here and the general more modern feel than what I was getting from Neopets, and I'm really hoping to become an active part of the community here. There is one thing I'm wondering about though, if anyone would be willing to help me out~ What should I do here daily? I've already figured out quests and made some really fast sP. I was amazed at how easily I earned enough points to buy a sweetheart potion. Is there anything else I should be sure to do though? I know there are games, but I've never been much into those types of things. I'd be willing to give them a shot though and see if there are any I really like.

Welcome! You could join a cult, those are like guilds or groups. A lot of them are really fun and have different activities to do like irc chatting, avatar contests and things like that! (I'm in Unique which is a great one!) I think a lot of it depends on what you like to do. If you're into pets you could work on their stories, profiles, art, ect. If you like to battle, you can work on building stats and getting good weapons. If you like achievements we have those and there are a lot of them! You can collect plushies, beanbags, work on getting a really smart pet and reading them books to raise intelligence, you can feed them food and get the Gourmand achievements, games achievements, so many things! xD I'm too lazy to list them all lol. You could start a gallery and collect things. Or if you really like the avatars part of the site you can work on getting clothes, wigs, ect. It's really all about what things you like and find interesting!

I usually play the wizard, restock items, read books for my pets, collect stickers, work on getting sP, add things to my wishlist and zap my pets. Thats what really keeping my interest and hence I need more money to get what I want.

I personally love some of the user run contests. Human Avatar style competitions and stuff like that. I also like the battle system here, though I'm not that good at it yet.

Thanks a lot to all of you! I spent a lot of time yesterday trying out your suggestions and have found some things I really enjoy~ I'm also super glad the community here is active. The last pet site I was a big part of hardly had any users ever online, so interaction was hardly existent.
