1. Shinwa's quest alert goes off before the quest becomes available to me, just at random
2. Old events I close re-appear in the even tab often upon reloading page (takes 2-3 "close" clicks to make them go away).

I second this, same for Ruffie Raffle. I will do these quests because I know they are ready to be done. Once done, I will click "Leave Alert" and randomly few minutes after the alert will come even tho it was already done. Sort of out of syng.

Same thing does to clicking the little "no" sign on the alerts, they always come back whenever I change the page, and will have to manually refresh several times to know which ones still remain, which should be gone etc.

You don't need to set the alert for these as both the raffle and the quest reset at midnight. Which I believe because they reset they mess up the alerts in general.

And yes the events thing... happens to me as well, best thing to do is close them out and just wait about 20-25 seconds before going to a new page. But really it's annoying because even waiting they still don't go away until the third try.

mmh for me the Shinwa one is actually on a rolling period? Like right now, it says in 3 hours, which brings me to 2AM, not midnight! :O

Yes but it resets at midnight Subeta time. The timer is messed up. Ha-ha.
