Nina has confirmed she is leaving the show :(

I have heard it, too bad :( I hope the next season without her will still be great, although I am a bit sceptical. At least we have the awesome Originals to comfort us xD

I agree, I have not seen The Originals yet but I am going to look in to it :D

I really should warn you, once you start watching The Originals you want more and more xD such an addictive tv serie. I have seen the last episode aired (season 2 episode 17) and I just cannot wait untill the next episode is on the television ❤ At first I was affraid that it would be much less pleasant to watch than The Vampire Diaries, but I actually like The Orignals now more than the last season of The Vampire Diaries :P

Wow, this is so depressing..Is she staying until the end of the sixth season? From the articles that I read, it sounded like she quit half way through...

They said they have plans for season seven tho! Haven't seen Originals yet; probably will after exams :P

It's a shame because she's a main character, but I find her annoying at times. Only watching the show for Ian Somerhalder.

I am pretty curious HOW they will end season 6 :D Cannot wait to watch.

I liked Katherine, so if she were still alive I might be upset that she decided to leave the show. But, as it stands, I've always hated Elena's character and found she only got more obnoxious as the series went on - so I don't particularly care.

That being said, I am nervous as to what that means for the show itself. I've found that its quality has been dropping steadily as the seasons go on, so I think a major character leaving may upset an established balance in an unpredictable way. And I don't just mean negatively; it may end up being a very good thing - it's hard to tell at this point.

And, I'm not gonna lie, I'm super pumped for the Delena on-again/off-again drama-llama to FINALLY die and STAY dead. It's been loooong overdue, imo.

As for The Originals (as a series) I was hoping for more flashbacks. My favourite season of TVD was the third because of all the flashbacks they did for the whole vampire origin story. When I heard they were making a spin-off, I had (wrongfully) assumed that they'd take advantage and explore over 1000 years of potential storylines that we were missing. Don't get me wrong, I am still enjoying it for what it is - but I have been disappointed by it a couple times. Also, I really don't like Hayley. Didn't like her in TVD, don't like her on TO (I'm kiiinda hoping they'll kill her off soon).

I'm glad that an actor has seen the light & quit that show. I HATE VD and the other show after it. Only a few good shows on cw, & VD and originals NOT one of them.
