Just finished it and now I'm really sad that there is no more... I like Historical, m/m romance, steampunk, fantasy, and murder mystery. I'm also really into things that involve magic and demons.

I've also read and liked The Nightrunner series and A Charm of Magpies.

Anyone have any recommendations for any of those genres?

Have you heard of The Book Seer? You can just type in the last book you read, or one you really enjoyed, and it'll give you recommendations similar to the book you entered. Super helpful.

How serious do you like your Steampunk? Have you read Gail Carriger's "Soulless" (& the Parasol Protectorate series)?

What kind of Fantasy? High (dragons and magic and pixies oh my) or low? Have you read Raymond Feist's & Janny Wurts' "Daughter of the Empire"? First part of a trilogy.

Natasha Arnold (she writes/draws a comic called Jenny Haniver) wrote a series of four steam punk novels you might enjoy, the first one is called A Billion Branches. It follows AU versions of the characters in the comic, but you don't need to read the comic to enjoy it. Has m/m in it, too...in fact, if I remember correctly (it's been a while since I read it), it actually has a few elements of everything you say you enjoy.
