So with the Masquerade over, I needed somewhere to store the references of the people I owe concrete art to!

Gonna do 50 and just roll with whatever you choose to toss at me :D

50/50

I'll throw three things at you and let you just choose whichever you want to do.

First up, is a human, more specifically Makeesh Winterrava. He's a ravashi, which are known to be completely and utterly demented~ All his images should have credits in their descriptions.

Next up, the ravashi home.... The Gloomy Forest.

A consistent fog looms over the entire Gloomy Forest, with it being the thickest in Ralishian, which is the heart of the forest. It is believed that the strange plants creating the fog are also responsible for the dementia common in animals who are in the Forest for extended periods. Also, all humanoid life in the forest are also affected in some way. This piece was done by DarkAngelBri on gryffs.com.

Last option is an animal who only has one official piece of art:

The Varishe. This is a cat who naturally inhabits the Necromatic Alleys of Magician's Peak. The high abundance of Death/Soul magic has severely affected all animals, though now the animals are also immune to the magic As quoted: "A varishe is some undead cat thing. It's got this beautiful silk coat filled with maggot-like bugs called marcinias. A very popular pet as it ferries the marcinias, which eat the nightstalkers. The varishe's tail is more a blade than tail and make an excellent house guard. Personally, I love the little rascals but they can be hard to find sometimes." ~Diego, my OC who runs Diego's Pet Emporium in the Necromatic Alleys

Are you comfortable with skulls? :D Hereyouare the Bocksten Man! He's a bog body of XIVth century, and (I don't know why) he has become like a mascotte for me (I'm a re-enactor of his period). I'm quite fond of his history and it touches me a lot. ...yes, it's an hairy skeleton, allright. With a medieval outfit and shiny gold locks. Extra info: For body refs, there are pictures of his clothings (yes, the body was found in a swamp and it's the best preserved in Europe): 1, 2, 3. And for hair, there's a facial reconstruction, but I really prefer him like a skull with hair, as it is nowadays. If you choose to draw him, feel free to play with his "expression": it's a skull, allright, but also skulls have feelings :P he's vain ("ooooh, look at my gorgeous shiny hair!! I'm 700 years old but I'm soooo cool. And I'm better than you.") and a bit naughty, but definitely not a bad guy. :) And there are a bunch of other drawings of him, if you need them!

If you like her, I'd love art of my OC, Shuradou: 1. by 2. by 3. by 4. by 5. by Goddess-Sadako (tumblr) 6. by 7. by Extra info: She only wears earrings in both ears when in the outfit drawn in the third reference (they're a gift), otherwise she only wears the set of three in her left ear. She's very sassy and knows how to flaunt what she's got to get her way. She was originally a thief, later turns bounty hunter. She really isn't one for formal/dressy clothes.

Or if she's not to your liking, there's her lover, Tieron: 1. by - He's an archer/hunter by trade 2. by - When not wearing tunics/hunting gear, he's typically dressed in more formal wear, as his parents push the air of nobility on their childer. 3. by - This is when he's in a frenzied state, but it has some of the best views of his markings. 4. by - The earrings he's wearing here are the matching set he gives to Shuradou -- at one point in their story, they part ways, and she gives it back to him as a way to keep her close (and he gives her the dagger in the 2nd image), so they should be in his right ear. 5. by - He's the little head to the left, just some blurbs about his marking/ears/hair/etc. Extra info: The markings on his skin aren't actually scars, they're patches of really fine hair that very closely match the skin color, making it look like scars.

I also have two NSFW (I don't actually think they're that bad, but I'd rather not take the chance of getting in trouble for posting them) pieces of them that can be used as reference, if needed.

Do either of these characters look like fun to you? 'Cause I was also thinking of popping over to your art thread and commissioning you. My wedding anniversary's coming up, and I'd like to surprise my husband with art of our OC couples. :3
