i wouldn't have paid it much mind, but i just stumbled upon this (or rather the lack of this) during a quentin quest where they asked for a steamworks menagerie item and it wasn't on any of the listed shop years. i looked it up on subetalodge just to make sure i wasn't making things up and turns out the item (Turquoise Blue Ceremonial Coat) is from 2009 but that year isn't in the menagerie shop. is this on purpose or was it simply forgotten?

quentin still do this? i remember similar situation(earlier this year) when he asked me for something not in user shop at all, and later something priced at millions, both on the same day. i asked around, it was items from event shop/quest shop, i don't really remember it well.

i'm also wondering the same thing ever since.

All of the 2009 items and all of the 2010 except the Yunium Key from the Steamworks Menagerie were retired.

ah. well, that's disappointing (mainly bc using tokens for quentin gave me something to spend them on plus obv it saved me sp). shrugs oh well. more quests to pass on then! :)
