I know the "at" symbol is used to ping, but I thought it only pings when there's a username behind. This is the second time I've just had the "at" symbol floating alone, by itself, and it takes it upon itself to ping someone a second time when I've already pinged them at the top of the post.
The first time it happened, I was copying and pasting a ticket, how it usually has the date "AT" time in the ticket. The second time it happened I was pinging someone AND quoting a staff member where they pinged someone else in the middle of their comment, so I separated the username from the at symbol, and it pinged the person who I was talking to again.
I don't know if this makes any sense so I'll recreate what happened, using myself and my friend.
Pasting a ticket: I ping myself Then I paste the ticket info 3/26 @ 9:52
Talking to someone else and quoting a separated ping:
EDIT: see it happened? with the ticket part I can't say "date AT time" without a username flying behind the at symbol, and the quoting part, I separated the 's ping, and behind the at symbol it put my own name again. wtf?
I am getting two different issues with pinging.
When I ping people who have participated in my dancing thread, not all of them get the ping.
Once I post a message, the page shows I pinged one person twice, when I didn't, meaning it CHANGES the person I originally intended to ping, to someone else.
Examples of both situations:

There is a ten person ping limit. I am not quite sure about the other one.
