I could be wrong about this, but I get the feeling he's not working at all right now. At least on my end. I haven't received a duel with him since early last night and I have been dancing all day pretty steadily. What's more, I have seen him in the ballroom lurking at least 5 times today (I've checked the ID to make sure it's him and not someone else dressed up like him) but no duel notifications whatsoever.

I got him two times last night in a fairly quick manner but I know that pretty much no one in the SB has gotten him recently. I know the SB is a small representation of subeta but at this rate if he is working as he should, this is pretty rough for trying to get those achievements. I've done at least 200 dances today and nothing from him.

I've gone to the ballroom bunches of times today and gotten nothing. Yesterday, I got him 3 times.

Someone else I spoke with went though several hundred dances today and didn't get him once. There's also a thread in help and questions asking about him, and people have said they got him yesterday but took many dances to do it, but none mentioned getting him today.

I've been wondering about this too. I got him three times (at least) yesterday and got both the achievements, but haven't seen him since the one time i beat him last night and i've danced a lot since then. I was starting to think winning the duel scares him off for good, but i was under the impression we'd still get opportunities to win more trinkets from him even after beating him once, so this seems broken...

Edit: I believe i've seen him lurking in the ballroom, and not cutting in, a couple times today too. I didn't check the ID because i didn't think much of it at the time, but it looked like him.

Been dancing a lot my hands hurt and been doing dance with the person above you all day have not even reached 1k yet of the steaamtrinkets

I've also had the issue where I saw him (checked the ID and it was def him) but he didn't cut in. I danced and went to the ballroom over 100 times and nothing, so I think it's broken...

I also went over 100 times and nothing, but I'm just supposing it's a very low chance? If there's any chance of it being broken, then please look into it :/ (or, into upping the chances a bit...)

Yeah I got him real quick after the news yesterday but no luck today, and I've been dancing a lot :( if it's not broken, maybe the chance of him appearing should be raised because I am getting way tired of having to open the ballroom after every dance.

I haven't even gotten him one time since the news announcement. If it weren't for the achievements, I would just give up.

I got the popup a few times last night, but not even once today :/

I have yet to get him as a challenger, even though I have seen him in the ballroom floor. I feel like it may be broken and I have been trying since yesterday for it.

I think they may have tweaked him tonight, all the sudden a bunch of us got him at once on SB. Also make sure to turn off your ad block if you want him. That may have been one of my problems with the popup.

Hmm, my ad blocker didn't inhibit the popup before. I guess I'll pause it temporarily and see if that changes anything.

I have adblock and I got him twice (in close proximity, after not getting him for quite awhile) so perhaps it's just taking some people longer than others.

I finally got the event again a few minutes ago, after an entire day of dancing unchallenged. But the button to decline the challenge and let him steal my partner was missing this time; the only option was to duel him. Which is fine, because that's what i'd choose anyway, but i don't know if it's supposed to be like that...
