Can this bug please, please, please be fixed this year? The order of dance alerts in my sidebar never ever ever matches the dances when I actually click the link to accept the dance. Frustrating when you're trying to keep track of who dances with you.

Just keep refreshing once you accept a dance until you're told you have no one left. That's what I tend to do when I get more than one dance at a time.

I'm having a strange issue myself. After dancing with someone, I refresh the page to see how much time I have left. Then I notice the user who was under me, has moved above me in place of the original user I danced with. This has happened every single time I have danced with someone ~ :( ~

This has been fixed in a manner of speaking because you have to accept the dance to see who danced with you now.

~ Still a bit confused. If I've danced with approx 12 users, shouldn't I receive 12 dances back from the users under me? That's not happening.

~ That's true. However, I see the user under me, when posting. Then when I refresh the page (to check the time left) that same person who was under me, is now above me, which means someone else is under me.

I unfortunately don't know in that case. I was just commenting on the events and the order that they come in D:

I did however report this -guru

Thanks for the reminder! I had completely forgotten about this! I must have had some dances left over from last year that were messing with my order. All is well now :)

Are you talking about in the dance with the person above forum threads? If so, it's very possible the person just didn't return the dance. If they posted right before you did, and then right after, my guess is that it hasn't even been long enough for them to dance again since the thread moves so quick...

I know I have posted before I was able to dance again, and I just waited a bit before clicking the button.

~ Just about to post again and saw this. I am referring to the dance with the person above. It's still happening.

1) I make a post - 2) Click on the dance button on the user above me - 3) I refresh the page, then I see that the user that I had just dance with who was (above me), is now below me. So now there is someone else above me. It does show the time when their posting was made.

There might be a few users who may not dance with you. But I don't think this is the case. I truly believe the order of the posting is all messed up, which is why when someone does make a post after my post, it may show someone else, and not my HA. Which is why they may be dancing with someone else.

I've just noticed the same oddity.

Since more often than not after posting I am not taken to my post, I have to scroll, to find my post - and the user I'm supposed to invite. We have very few users on the board right now, so I had posted 3 times on one page and inadvertently invited the wrong person - twice - or so I thought. So I invited the proper one before posting again. This happened to me twice, I also got the same waiting times as before for the same people, that seemed odd. Then I didn't even have to wait until my 2 minutes waiting time was over until I could invite the proper user. So I began to think, that the invites probably didn't even go through - because I didn't get enough "proposal accepted" events.

So I counterchecked the thread with my Recent Post Search and every time the users above and beneath me had swapped places.

Uhg, so that's a completely different issue and might explain other things.

Could one of you make a new topic in this forum? I'll work on getting the information over to staff.

I now am under the impression, that this might be a time/caching issue, because I got an error, saying I couldn't post twice in a row (oh, indeed? unfortunately have been repeatedly proven to easily be able to in the recent past). A second later I received an invitation event. So that meant, someone had posted on that thread after me. I posted. My earlier post was first on the next page and when I was taken there with my new post, my earlier post was the only one on that page. I had to refresh the page to see the user, who had invited me and my own current posting.

I guess -Guru should open the new thread, since it was she, who did all the explanation first, I'd only copy her posting.

Edit: New wonderous things: I see the last person, who posted, I post, the page refreshes, but to a previous state, the lat peson, which I now should have invited is no longer there (neither is my new posting). I have to refresh again, to see the last user, which had been viewable before and my new post.

This is definitely making it hard to play the masquerade game, considering we also have the do-not-want-to-be-deleted stubborn events, when you keep answering to invitations, that no longer exist.

~ Should I make another topic/forum? I've already mentioned it on another one, prior to this. Destiny mentioned that she had already reported this.

~ Thank you for your help. Although this may be a pain, it's good to know I'm not the only one who's noticing this.
