Happened to me also, I remade it and so far all is well. It could be your mouse ran over the delete button and it happened by mistake? There should have been a pop-up asking if you are sure in that instance and there wasn't.

I was on the member's page when it happened, trying to accept a new member - no pop up, just an alert telling me my group was gone :(

I too had this happen to me this morning with my private CW release ping group! I just made the group last night. I went to accept a friend and it took me back to the members page and showed I was the only one! Tried going back in and it was gone. Now I have the alert saying it was deleted, and I never was on the main page to delete it!

Did you have to end up remaking your group? I'm torn on what to do. I was going to release the wig tonight but now there is no group. I don't know if I should make a new one or wait it out! :/

I did remake it, and when I did I changed the settings so members joined automatically so I didn't have to face that glitch again. So far, it's all good :D

Same thing happened to me last week and I filed a ticket but since have been thinking I may have accidentally clicked the delete button or accidentally left my own group in which case since I'm sole admin it may have deleted itself.

I have since remade the group and just in case made a friend an admin in case anything like this happens again but it has been fine since.

I completely agree with you there should be a prompt to ask if you want to leave this group or delete this group. In fact I had mentioned it to the staff who helped me to relay that to the programmers, and have been meaning to make a thread about that in the feedback. It's definitely something that needs to exist on irreversible things such as groups and even other things.

Also, to me it also happened when accepting a member, so maybe there is in fact a bug with accepting members and groups deleting themselves?

yeah you'll need to recreate your group.
