whoo my first post! i figured i should come and say hi before i became too much of an old hand in this new environment to be considered a newbie lol! so, hi!

i'm another one to dip my toe in subetaland after hanging out in neoland for over a decade. i still hang out over there too (UN: asuperchook) but lately i've just been a bit bored, and a neofriend (Jennie) convinced me to come and check it out over here - so here i am. and i'm glad i did because it's pretty awesome here! i'm looking forward to discovering more and more things about the site, and i'm looking forward to the events, and customising my HA, and getting lots of cute minions for my Helio! ^_^ squishies all the pretty minions

hmm well, a little about me...i love dragons, and robots, and reading, and sleeping, and a few too many other things to list here. i studied jewellery design and manufacture at uni and i generally enjoy crafty, creative things. i'm an introvert and a procrastinator and usually enjoy music and art more than most kinds of sports.

oh yeah, and i can babble a bit...can you tell? XD and tend to stay up way past my bedtime looks at clock like now...oops...

anyways, i guess i should wrap it up! it's good to be here :D waves and puts out a plate of cookies

This place is great, much friendlier forums and people then Neo, (in my opinion) and this site holds my attention more these days

i concur . i used to spend most of my time (when i was online at least) looking after my Habitarium, but since they've been ditched i end up twiddling my thumbs wondering what to do with myself when i'm on neo. it's sad to see the site getting a little stagnant - i hope they can pick themselves up and dust themselves off and get their act together soon...in the meantime i'm enjoying it here! :)

i too used to spend too much time playing habitarium :) then, after it was discontinued, i started sniffing around here. and now i'm staying.

i like dragons too :) one of the reason that attract me here is bloodred magnus. but i end up not adopting any dragon because the artwork of other pets are equally as awesome as the dragons!

hi ! i know what you mean, there are sooo many awesome colours here! that was the one thing that took me ages when i created my account - picking a pet...and a name! i'm terrible at deciding on names XD i have a list of cool ones i've been saving for a rainy day, but to pick the right one for the right pet - eesh tough!

indeed, picking name for oneself pet prove to be difficult. after all, the name does define the identity of said magnificent companion. if you does fancy a certain name, perhaps you want to claim it now before someone snatch them. you can morph them later to appropriate species and color (elixirs are cheap 😉).

i too were having the same trouble, but then, i just pick random funny name and live with it. haha.

but it's all too hard to decide lol! not to worry, the names on my list won't likely be taken if/when i want to use them - if they are i will be pretty freaked out by the coincidence of someone else thinking up the same thing as me!

i guess we'll love them anyway, whatever we name them, because they're our pets ^_^

exactly :) letting the pet shines its own name perhaps more meaningful than granting them a grand name.

yeah his dragonyness won me over, so i couldn't help but pick him for my first pet :) your Steam Punk is awesome btw! i'm a fan of steampunk stuff - two of my neopets are robots (not quite the same) so i'd love to have a steamwork pet here too - but how to choose which one?! oh such tough life choices lol! and if Leige would ever like another Magnus to hang out with during a storm, Helio loves thunder and lightning too :D ⚡

it was a tough choice, there were a couple other Steamworks that I liked as well, if you haven't yet, head over to subetalodge and have a look around, its amazing! Shows all the pet colors, as well as subeta items

Hi there. I was a neopian but after it changed I didn't like it and then my friend convinced me to come here too. Wasn't sure but I'm glad she did convinced me in the end! Love it here and hope you'll be the same :D

Welcome back to Subeta! We have a lot of neo transplants here (like me). I think you'll find subeta superior in most ways. :) Hope you're enjoying Masq so far!

thanks ! i am really enjoying it here so far, and you're right - so many things are easier to do here (and therefore more enjoyable in my book) than on neo. the biggest thing for me is searching and buying from shops - so easy! i've never had a premium account over on neo, so searching through the shops is such a pain, but here it's fantastically simple :D and i love how easy it is to add stuff to our wishlist/s (or my shopping list as i call it hehe :P ). and even though items can cost millions, i'm absolutely confident that i'll be able to save up the sP's in no time here, whereas on neo i've never really felt like that. it feels good to splurge points on pretty things and not freak out over how many years it's taken to save up for something...

anyway, enough gushing from me on how fab it is here, there's dancing to be done ^_^
