Why don't infinite use ones exist? Put them in the MC for 10 mil or something, never have to equip them again. You could have one for each element. You could make them do random elements each time. I don't care. I would love an infinite use potion o-o
I'm guessing they'd consider them weapons then -- but that's really what they are now anyway. I'm with you on the infinite use potion -- I would LOVE to see infinite use potions/pylonics even if we had to craft them like we do scrolls. Maybe a genetech thing?
I wouldn't mind this at all personally. Random icon damage seems fair between 5-50 maybe? I dunno whatever works.
Makes perfect sense to me. 10mil per potion seems reasonable there's like 7 right now. Plus they could make a few more for the missing elements as well.
exactly =P I'd only buy water and magma probably. until the other ones become necessary. but I think it would be a good sink.
I'd rather that than BHH or even the crystal shop… Plus, if it was genetech'd you know they'd require a R99 item and something that was retired ages ago and isn't available anywhere because Chase asked for the last one in existence 3 years ago.
I enjoy BHH, but I hate the crystal shop xD I don't mind r99 stuff, I like rsing. retired stuff sucks xD and apparently chase does not ask for stuff that only a few exist of, I am not sure of the threshold, but I read this fact today.
While they would be nice to have, I do remember Cranberry saying at some point that she did not support the use of potions at all. Don't poke the bear. If they wanted to have infinite use potions, they would just let us select 3 weapons/turn.
What might be a better option would be one that you could use for 10 uses and then it would break, or could use for a whole battle and then it would break, you wouldn't have to reequip as often, but would still kind of hold to the theory behind the potions (I mean, potions don't refill themselves, and infinite use one wouldn't make sense right?)
I think the idea of potions is that they're sort of purposely a pain to use since you always have to keep equipping more, that way they become an added bonus. if there was any infinite use, it'd instantly become a staple. I don't think that's a good idea.
^i kind of agree.
I, however, can see a semi-breakable/OPB potion being an option @ like 5-10M each.
lol, that'd be an sp sink.
Aren't they already a staple against challengers like forj?
I can't remember ever equipping one, though I have several thousand vaulted XD. I always go for pylonics first, and there's been the same ones sitting on my pet since I fought baenwurath for win 6 and before that there was none lol.
pylonics are at least one equipped per battle. You can literally equip all of the dark potions in your vault if you wanted. Forj really needs the dark water potions, I'd be surprised if you did not use any against her.
I didn't fight forj til i was way over powered :P so I'm sure I didn't, though post-reset I'm sure I will. But I won't equip them til I need to and they will be just a bonus. Having infinite use is essentially adding the ability to use a crappy 3rd weapon every turn, and anyone who has 10m (or however much they'd cost) should definitely have one. Besides which, people who try like mad for wins could likely be using more than 5-10m worth of potions in the long run. I really think they're better as a viable option that is a pain in the ass in practice.
it would take over 20k potions to cost 10 mil if you restocked them all without discount cards or the shop buff. I honestly doubt this. It really changes nothing making them infinite use, it just makes it easier for people. Battling certain enemies at the recommended stats or a bit below requires the extra 11 icons each turn.
