I suggested it in the "read to pet" topic, so I decided to make it as a new suggestion topic.

The purpose of this suggestion is to let us choose one default pet per feature, and you can change the pet anytime you want, even if it's not your main pet.

So it will be a page with the list of some features and with a list of your pet (can be the pictures or only the names, depends on what can be faster to load) You choose one pet for every feature that you want (you don't have to set a pet for everything) You click on Confirm

and that's it, from now on only this pet will be used for that feature.

The features that it can work great with:

1. read to pet - after you buy a book from SS or NPC shop, you can read it to your default pet.
2. feed to pet - same as above with food
3. play with pet - same as above with toys
4. BQ - set the radio button auto selected for this pet (optional)
5. Zapper - how many times you forgot to change your active pet and you zapped it by accident?
6. Treasure - When you buy an item - send to treasure - (not popular suggestion, maybe I will delete it)

You can suggest more features and changes to the concept :)

I don't really see how setting a default pet for BQs would really make them faster. You'd be saving one click from having to select a pet on the battle page (unless I'm misunderstanding how this would work?)

But support for the rest of the options c:

I'm with you about BQ, but I've seen some complains about that one click so this is the reason why I put there and as optional :P you click on the opponent and you are in a battle with it immediately, without the page where you choose the pet and the set..

That's a little ridiculous imo but I believe it :P

Just having your main pet's radio button auto selected for bqs would be great. You don't know how many times I've switched my set around for a specific challenger but forgotten to select a pet so I had to do it again :p

omg it happened to me a lot! your idea can be wonderful!! :D

I'd prefer that to eliminating the page, I switch my set around occasionally so that page is useful. But just making it so I don't need to select my pet every time would make things go much smoother

I can really get behind the read to pet, feed to pet, and pet zapper. The pet zapper, if it's supposed to show my active pet first, it doesn't. Not that I want to zap my active pet.... So being able to set a specific pet to show up first without having to rearrange my pets on the pets.php page would be good. My read and feed pet is the same pet, not my active pet, nor the pet I want to be zapped.

Play with pet and BQs, alright.

But... Treasure... I don't really see how that would work? I work on all my pets treasures simultaneously. So I guess I wouldn't set a default pet for this?

Not sure I would set a pet for treasure chests since I sort of do those randomly, but I think the rest of these suggestions are great!

I DEFINITELY support the zapper one. I have lots of pets to zap, and I am always afraid that once I finish one and move on to the next, I will accidentally zap the old pet instead of the new one. For example, Sabryna finally became storm, so she is done... but I nearly zapped her again today by mistake, since I am now zapping Teaghan... This feature would help me so much! Especially now that the "Is this the pet you want to zap" page was removed!

I agree...it is a royal PITA to switch back n forth between pets for certain things!

I agree. I'd love to have another pet of mine as my "active" pet but because of forgetfulness I ended up leaving Wade to be mine, mainly because of things like stat rewards on Oracle Quests or the Coin Machine. If I had another pet active I'd just totally forget to change my active pet and the wrong pet would get the stat boost...

I love this idea! I'm always paranoid that I'll misclick when feeding/reading (especially when it's an expensive item!), since the pet list is just a bunch of tiny links all one on top of the other. I just have one pet that I want to use for battling and feeding/reading achievements, so having to pick that pet out of a list every single time is a little tedious/nerve wracking.

I also remember being even more paranoid about zapping, I think picking a default zapper pet is a great idea. :D
