I've decided to never buy from these people. When certain shops have 500-2000 of a single item I think its time to stop giving them my sp. Im not talking about one or two items with over that much becuase I have 300 of two items. But I'm talking about the ones who have over 20 certain quest needed items. I'd rather buy from the person above you on the SS. Wheather it be 1k or 20k more for the item I'll give them my sp :) It's like Neopets. I would never buy from "Malls" Just thought i'd mention this. Well i think that is silly. There are no mallers here. However there are people that rs popular quest items to sell, as they know they wont sit around in their shop for long. If you want to pay more for an item, just because the person on the top has a large amount of items that is upto you but i think it could very well be just you

Yeah I don't see the point in that :L Like, yeah I think it's stupid to just buy up everyone below you but at the same time, I found today that I had I think 5 or 6 copies of an item I needed for a quest, in my shop already. Those all came from vending. I mean, it still wasn't 20+ but hey, shit happens :L

Sometimes you hoard items for various reasons, and suddenly decide to dump them all (I just did that with my collection of stat boosters for ~120m). I don't really hold it against anyone if they have dozens or hundreds of random items /shrug. I know that I have a couple of specific things I started hoarding back before they changed quests' special items to only come out during WSQs. I have over 100 of one in particular and while I don't plan to get rid of them, it's not like I bought up a bunch intending to make money off of them.

[edit] Plus, there are tons of items that quests can ask for here, so while I understand that doing quests is when most people are going to see that an item was hoarded, there's really no point in pointing it out since that's most items tbh

Mallers on Neopets sell at inflated prices

Megastore owners on Subeta often have the lowest price. Therefore, you only penalize yourself

Meh I personally could care less if someone has 20000 of one item in their shop. If they have the time and patience to gather/restock that many of one item, they deserve their profits imo! Generally, I buy from the first item at the top of the shop search, but if I see someone at the same price that has tons of one item, I'll buy theirs just to help them clear their stock - but I'm all about the profits I get so I go for whatever is cheapest really :) Some people won't buy from my shop just because they hate my shop name, but it hasn't hurt my profits any so I doubt it hurts theirs either since there will always be people who just don't give a shit what others do. Like said, your only hurting yourself ^_^

I see this attitude a lot and I still don't understand it. If a person wants to risk their money buying restockables and selling large amounts then they should go for it.

I find a lot of items when I'm pricing my shop where there will be 50+ copies of aomething underpriced.

For what it's worth, some items stockpile very easily on this site. I mean, vending can give you multiples of the same item. There's also stuff like battle loot where some challengers drop a lot of a certain item. Heck, there are even tier 1 and 2 challengers that drop r81+ items. When you are battling with 10+ pets, quantities can build up fast.

I actually practice this quite often especially with seasonal inflated items. I don't support people who buy out all of a dumb 2013 balloon just to inflate the crap out of it. When you are selling 600+ of the same non currency holiday item generally it means your just an a hole. I vend all the time, and there isn't a single item that I have over 20 of when auto-pricing my shop atleast every couple of days. Like you can suck it. I don't care if you have the time to do so, your just a greedy pos imo. And whats really pathetic is that when people do this, generally they are not even profiting that greatly. Like go do quests or something, get real.
