Im trying hard to get the items any tips?

Tips to get sp: Do the NPC quests. Sarah's quests have high payouts as they're more directed towards new users (and poor users as you can't do them if you have more than a certain amount of sp). Wizard quests are also another that you can do to get sp and wizard tokens (which can be used for vending machines, carnival games, Blackheart Hollow and the token shop which restocks every once in a while). Pete's and Maleria's quests are also pretty good-- though I wouldn't suggest it until you have at least 70k (and quit quests that ask for items that are 60k+).

Games wise-- I recommend Item Hunt (you start out with a low payout but it gradually increases) Caliphi's Tomb (you can get up to 20k if you clear the board, and can send score 10 times) Random (You play this every 3 hours to get sp or items)

There is a bunch of other games you can play and get achievements for (if that's your thing), so feel free to try them all out.

Besides the NPC shops, you can also get items from events which require currencies. Masquerade is coming up and for that you get trinkets (by dancing in the even forum when it comes up). In event shops you can buy a variety of items from food, clothing, books, toys, and other miscellaneous items.

As Sei already pointed out, there are many ways to get items.

I only want to point out that there is a special section of the forums called "Giveaways" (under Advertising), which also includes some offers from more experienced user who wish to get rid of items they no longer need.

There is also the Donation Corner in Riverside (Valley), where users can receive items or donate them.

Maybe you should go check out those two options, too. You might just get a chance to receive items that you usually wouldn't be able to afford...
