After almost a year of absence in the game, I decided to update my client and jump back into Maplestory. I've really been enjoying having the game back thus far, though I was never a very serious player. (Perhaps evidence of this is that my highest level character is only a level 60 Evan.)

I've decided to give myself a bit of a refresher and try out one of the classes new to me, Shadow. So I'm starting from the ground up for a bit, before I jump back on to one of my old characters.

Does anyone here still play the game? It's a little lonely at the moment and I'd love some company. :D I used to have a full group to go traipsing around with but my main partner lost her ability to play the game due to a memory leak, and I fell out of touch with the others. I'm hanging out on the El Nino server. (But if you're like me and you've taken an extended break from the game and want to start fresh with a new class, I'd be more then happy to do that with you on a server more convenient for you.)

I played Maple Story regularly a long time ago. Maybe between 2005 and 2010. So I imagine a lot has changed.

I came back after like a 4-5 year absence. I was persuaded via email about the welcome back package. I am on windia and am at a complete loss because everything has changed for me. I managed to gain 5 levels though and am now a night lord.

I am Beccasb on Windia. I should have buddy room? Like everyone i know is long gone. Currently doing the friendstory quest line for the extra inventory slots before I go for that book quest with the medals and whatnot. I am like embarrassingly weak though. I was gifted a new claw but I can't use it till I hit 150. So trying to do quests before I even attempt any pqs. Any and all tips are seriously appreciated.

MapleStory was my first ever MMORPG! xD I played the official game (Khaini server) about..... 10 years ago? No wait. Longer. I was 12 when I started playing it, and I'm about to be 25. Wow, I'm a nerd. ANYWAYS. I quit playing after about two years when I got bored of the mind boggling low experience rate (My highest level was a Level 47 Cleric) so I switched to Private servers which higher experience rates for a while. All of the good ones keep disappearing so I haven't played in a long time. I would consider returning to my original account if I could remember my log-in information... but 10 years is quite the long absence and it wouldn't shock me if my account no longer existed. I'm not even sure which email address I used to sign up. Maybe I'll start again from scratch with a new account! I imagine an awful lot has changed since I last logged in! xD

Yeah a lot has changed but it is fun to meet people. Join windia cause I need friends.

I love Maplestory honestly I do but I have a short attention span maybe if I had friends from other sites to talk to outside it'll help me keep track?
