recently(ish?) the books read pages were broken up into sections, presumably to avoid having one page load with 1000+ items, but this has made it a huge pain to figure out which books my pet has read. i think if there was an option to have a text only list of all the books it would avoid the problem of having so many images loading but still make it easier to keep track of books read

But yeah, recently most of us found out that Subeta could load 5k+ item names on a page without breaking down and crying after listing so many items in the Account Worth page. So I don't think it would be too much of a strain on anything to remove the images and just create a single, text list of the books we've read. I think this could/should go for other collections as well, like plushie, beanbag, etc. For some reason I thought it already was a thing, but I can't find anything. So I agree. ^_^

This is a pretty good idea. Improve load times, QoL, ease of use, cut down on server strain. Sounds great to me.

You can also use Subetalodge to keep track of all that kind of stuff. But I agree, having a text only option would be nice, especially if you already use subetalodge and realize the numbers dont add up.

If you are trying to see if your pet has read a specific book, or eaten a certain food you can also use the "Account Search." If your pet read/ate that specific item it'll tell you on that page.

the problem is that my subetalodge is out of date and i cant update it bc theres not a single page w all the items on it which is why i want a single page xD

what i do for now is copy and paste each page into notepad and later into excel. but even that takes time to do and need to be updated regularly. it does beat using account search or checking pet's book read for people on slow internet.

if we can have one page listing them without image, that is the best. for all other collection too.

One text-based page to see all the read books sounds like a great idea :)

With the URL feature in Mass-add at Subetalodge now. You can update by copy-pasting the URL of the first page then just change the page number at the end and re-submit until all pages of your list are loaded. A bit of a pain, but do-able. I fully agree that the option for a text only list would be a great idea.

I need this so badly Having to go through 20+ pages of books with their images just so i can ctrl+f to see if my pet has read something is so inefficient and annoying Please allow a text only option thats just a list

I agree with the idea of text only list options because it would definitely make subetalodge easier to update. In the meantime, I browse with chrome; and when I'm buying up books I just keep an account search tab pinned at the left of my tabs bar. I know other people have said that account searching everything is a pain, but with pinned tabs it works okay for me :)
