I have a very minor peeve with the training center. The page is suffering from WOT (wall of text) syndrome and while I think the explanations are good and all... they take up space. Especially when you have 20+ (or 30+ or 40+) pets and have to suffer a lot of scrolling anyway.

If there was a lobby to the gym, where you could "chat" with Jim, or his assistant, about what the training center is and isn't, then the actual page where you enroll pets could be freed up from a lot of often needless clutter. Most of know a lot more about training than what Jim tells us anyway.

People who know what they're doing could just bookmark the page where you enroll, newbies could browse through Jim's rambling about his business at their leisure.

I think this is a pretty good idea! It would be excellent if the notification for a session ending linked directly to the training page. The training center could definitely use a bit of a revamp (Jim included...), and removing all the text from the main page would a good start.

I dont mind this if, as Satyr mentioned, the alerts link to the appropriate page.

Personally, i would like it if it could be taken further and have a option for a "minimalist version" kinda like how WL used to have the text only mode.

It doesn't bother me too much atm, but that's because I only have ~17 pets. Yikes, don't want to imagine going to that page with over 30 or 40 pets.

I also agree that it would be nice to have a separate section for Jim and his intro to Training and any caps that come with it.

This is a great idea. Jim's text takes up a chunk of the page, and so do pet images and the info displayed next to it.

I like this idea because I do train all my pets, but my support is lukewarm. Is training scrolling really a big deal for all that many users? I thought and I were somewhat unusual in that we train all of our pets. If you're training just a few pets you can change their order yourself so they're at the top, Subeta doesn't need to recode for that.

In the interest of reducing training scrolling, nowadays most people have horizonatal monitors/screens. I think there's room to make the pets three-across. If the pets were three-across instead of two-across, this may reduce vertical scrolling for those with lots of pets without forcing too many to use the bottom-screen scroll bar for horizontal scrolling.
