Curious to see how many people from here play TERA: Rising. That's pretty much were I have been for the past 2 years or so.

If you don't know what TERA is, it's an free to play mmo! And a pretty nice one at that. Sure it has it's issues, but I like to think the good points about it heavily out weigh the downsides. x) If you're thinking about trying a new game, should atleast consider tera.

I'm not actually really that into mmos, but tera kept me coming back. I'm not sure what it was, but something about it really drew me in. Maybe it's the combat, or how pretty it was. Either way, it's whats been keeping me busy.

I play on the NA version of tera, on Tempest Reach! My main is Lithe but I'm also pretty active on Cupcakes. Proud guild master of Cat Walk. <3

I used to play it A LOT last year. But my laptop isn't doing so well compensating the graphics (without looking edgy and horribly) so I decided to lay it down until I get some better hardware. I used to main an castanic archer Lvl...44 now I guess? Was really fun!

- Ah yeah, tera can get a little harsh on computer/laptops sometimes. I can actually run on preset 6, but not without my laptop wanting to murder me after a while. xD I tend to sit at 1, as not pretty as that is. Atleast it helps enough to play. xD

I wanna get a new laptop for my birthday that will hopefully run tera beautifully.

I'm an on/off player xD A few times a year I'll obsessively play TERA, but after a month (two max) I get demotivated or something else catches my attention xD I'll occasionally log in for the daily elite gifts, or to buy an cash-shop outfit or mount.

I play on both the european and the american servers (Freya and Tempest Reach). On the EU I have Belleth (Elin, Archer, 44-ish) and Flannerie/Flannery (Castanic, Berserker, 45-ish) and Charence (Elin, berserker, 40-ish). On the US I have Flannnerie (Elin, Berserker, 42-ish), Nenaeve (Elin, Warrior, 22-ish), a Elin sorcerer, a castanic archer and castanic mystic all still on the island of dawn and around lv12 and lower xD

I think most of my motivation issues is because my laptop is getting old and gives me really shitty FPS and a lot of lag if I play on even a moderately populated channel (and with the lowest graphic settings), and sometimes even just if the enemy uses special attacks and shit. I plan on buying a gaming desktop sometime this summer, and hopefully that'll get me back into MMORPGS x3

I thought about trying EU for a little bit. But all the horror stories kinda push me away from that. @-@ I've got alot of alts myself. I have 2 accounts, full 12 slots. I may or may not have an alt problem.

I completely understand that. It can be a little frustrating. Being from Australia, my ping is like 250-350 and I play with any where between 5 to 30 FPS depending on what I'm doing. Tera isn't exactly too kind to older laptops.

Lmao, yeah the EU servers aren't that great, but the chat was significantly less racist, sexist and 'unsupervised 10 year olds'. Well, back a year or two ago anyway. And although I thought the costumes were more expensive they didn't necessarily come in loot boxes, so you could buy the dyeable version of, say, the snowbelle costume outright without spending $40 on chance loot boxes, or 500k in-game gold. Once again, it's been a year or two since I played on the EU servers, so that might have changed now.

I have a guild on the EU servers, but it's just me, a friend and her boyfriend there... as well as some alts I made to fill up the guild in case they quit xD On the US I'm guildless, too much of a coward to ask people, and not really active enough for the commitment anyway.

Yeh, I went from 3 to 50fps, and it's usually on the lower end of that scale too. >/
