I would recommend any type of similar color dresses. Those are the most common types of outfits (since there is ballroom dancing and all!)

Are you looking for any specific item suggestions?

The is relatively cheap (good for a newer player) and would match with the color and theme of the event :)

If you want to get a little pricier you can also look into:

(also cheap)

Let me know if any of these help you ^_^

The color match in the beta wardrobe isn't perfect by any means, but it can help with coordinating an outfit!

I like just playing around with LOTS of items until I find something I like. Even if you don't think an item will work, give it a chance! :) I often make avatars using items I never thought would see the light of day (this one isn't a perfect example 'cause I was kinda uninspired when I made it and I'm not in the mood to make another one, but I always struggle to use the bustles, and I had NO plans whatsoever to use the mask, hair, clutch, or shoes. In fact, I started out with more of a red & orange color scheme! lol :D)

I find an item that I like and fiddle with items until I have an outfit that goes together.

For instance, I wanted to use one of the new dresses in the Steamworks shop really badly, so I went searching through my wardrobe until I found stuff that went with it. The HA itself is only three items: the dress, some eyes, and the mask. The hair is from an old mini-plot custom colored to match the dress (you can do this in the Hair Salon if you have an eyedropper extension for your browser or take a screenshot and stick the screenshot in Paint or a similar program.) The background's a combination of various background items and a ground item.

It can take awhile and may require buying some new items, but it can be very rewarding. :D

, How did you custom color your hair? I looked in the hairsalon but cannot seem to figure out how to do it, with my eyedropper tool.

With the Beta Wardrobe, you click Hair Salon, then pick the hair you want. When you're in there you can open up the base, highlight, and lowlight colors. For each one, you paste the hex code for the color you want into the box and tweak the color by dragging the little dot around.

If you have Chrome or Firefox, I would recommend getting Colorzilla since it'll copy the hex code of the color you picked straight to your clipboard so you can just paste it where you want it.

Hopefully that helps!

Edit: Typo'd the UN, pinged the wrong person. Sorry!
