This is something I noticed, and I'm not sure if it's a bug, or it's something already known and being worked on.
I, along with other users, bought a specific virus strain most likely hours before the known end of the Survival event. From what I've personally read and experienced myself, they did not get their wanted and bought virus strain. They received no notification of receiving their chosen/bought infection by the end of the event, and are out of a last infection of the year, and of the spent sP on the strain.
The VIP page says, "Even though we're not accepting any new volunteers, we will still do all we can to infect those of you who signed up before Survival ended!"
Does that mean those who have experienced what I stated above will still get their infections sometime today, or so? What should we do if this does not happen? I feel like I pretty much wasted sP to get no Brain Rot.
I believe someone in the news said it was possibly a cache error? Can I also get a confirmation on whether or not this is what caused this error/problem to happen? As I asked before though, what do those affected by this need to do?
(In case it is needed, I signed up around 9:00 PM, March 2nd, and received no notification by event end and still no sign of infection.)
(I believe you all mentioned somewhere or another about this or something similar happening to you?)
-Kyuubi If you picked an older strain (e.g. 2009) it can take up to three days for you to get infected, if no mature zombies of your strain are biting you.

Okay...So those of us who paid for an infection in the last hours of Survival will get our infection...it just might take a day or two?
I signed up for a new virus and paid the extra money so hopefully I am infected.
Did you seek out bites on the forums after paying for the virus? I purchased my virus (Lovebug - Romantic, Flushed) last night, was infected on the forums shortly before 10:00pm after seeking bites, and am having no issues.
But as said, it would seem that since you weren't bitten by zombies, your infection is going to take a few days to show up. So you're getting what you paid for, it's just going to take longer to appear.
