I would really like to get into anime and manga more, but every time I think I've found an interesting one, it ends up being filled with sex and gore. Maybe I'm just not searching hard enough, but I can't seem to find any other good ones besides Hetalia, Ouran Host Club, and couple others. Does anyone know any good ones that aren't sex/gore filled? Also if you have a recommendation and know where to watch/read online, I'd appreciate a link if possible. :)

Hetalia and Ouran are both comedy, I'm guessing that's what you're looking for? If so I recommend: Gintama - I LOVE it, it has some clever dirty jokes but there's no sex or anything Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun Daily Lives of High School Boys / Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou

If comedy is what you are looking for I second Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, it is on top place of funniest anime I have watched. Other comedy animes I have watched and liked are Tsyuokiss, Barakamon, Gugure! Kokkuri-san, Basquash! (even if it is more of sport and mecha type, it left me in good mood) and SKET Dance.

I usually watch free anime on animeplus.tv because they have lots of different animes and of the few sites I have used it has the fastest loading speed for episodes and movies. Other places I have tried are animefreak.tv (I used it long time, but moved to animeplus because they have more series and movies) and kumby (which I didn't use that much). All of them are free, don't need logging in or any accounts but they are really add heavy so prepare for popups.

I watch a lot of different things .. Sword art and Log Horizon are good Gurren Lagann.. Nagi-Asu is another one that i thought was nice..

Secconding on Gintama. That shit is amazing and has a lot of episodes, so it'll keep you entertained for a while (the 250+ episodes will actually feel like really few once you get hooked thought haha)

(comedy) Spice and Wolf (no idea which genre this'd be haha, but it's lighthearted and really good)

I recommend Yu Yu Hakusho and Akatsuki no Yona (Yona of the Dawn). I'm not quite sure where you can find them to watch/read. Yona is on crunchyroll and Yona is on mangareader.net
