I just wanted to take my time to say that minions are practically worthless and that there should be a crazy minion lady quest and now I'm forced to type as fast as I can so people don't think I'm the crazy one for posting about cat ladies in the suggestion thread. D:

Anyways. Yeah. There are a lot of minions that will never be used, even with this new minion battling thing, and I just thought it would be a neat idea to have a 'crazy cat/minion lady' type quest to turn some of them in and maybe make them actually worth something. There are quests for toys, food, weapons and books so why not minions, right?

I don't know if there's a 'Crazy Cat Lady' forum title but I think if this were a thing it would definitely be a fitting title to reward for such a quest.

For the quest page, the giver could prattle on about minions or list all of the names they've given to theirs or something, and then when you complete a quest they could say things like:

"Pookie will really enjoy this." "Zazzles, don't chew on that!" "I said get down from there!"

Etc, etc. I don't know if it's possible but it would be neat if you could get a bunch of different phrases to run through on the completed quest page.

Maybe I'm just lame for thinking this would be a neat idea, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyways. xD

I actually think it's a great idea to give minions a little more worth and a great concept. I guess I'd probably want it to be a Quentin-ish quest because, along with restockable minions, we have a lot of Special minions that are super low in value.

Plus, I'd love any sort of Crazy Cat Lady title. 😍

No more quests, please, we have too much onsite.

I don't do anything with minions, not even this new battling thing so ridding my vault of minions that are nil in value would be fitting.

Throw the minions in the RB for a while to make them not as deflated, or add a new aspect to Drills where he decides he wants to open a minion shelter (HEY BRING ME ___ MINION) ((Drills is secretly a huge cuddlebug)

Ohhh I think it would be really cute if they used Mabel for this, the minion shop owner n__n She's such a cute lil grandma I can totally imagine her having a lot of minions of her own/cats/etc. And yeah, there might be a lot of quests already on-site, but this just gives another option. You don't have to do every single quest, and if this helps bring value to items - items that I might add, years back were pretty collectible - I don't really see there being a negative issue...? Heck, even if this was a seasonal quest that could only be done certain times of the year, I think this could be a good idea.

And if they use an already existing NPC (like Mabel), there won't be any art investment into the quest, so if staff decides it wasn't really useful in the long run and decide to retire the quest, they atleast didn't spend money on NPC art that won't be used again.

No more quests please. There are so many already. Maybe like some kind of of 'adoption' thing. Donate minions for needy pets or something.

I'm always okay with getting more quests to do. Especially if the increased shop restock rate stays in effect.

But what about the Minion Zoo beta test? Maybe that will help the minion value situation a little. Let's hope.

While there are a few different types of quests I don't really consider it 'too many'. I do everything except for toy, cursed (I just never found these two profitable, personally) and Sarah's (because I can't) and it doesn't seem to take more than a half hour (excluding BQs). To each their own, though. c:

As for the minion battling... I don't know. It depends how popular it becomes, I guess? They're pretty cheap right now and the Graveyard vending machine gives them out a lot so anything could happen with that. Initially they might inflate, but in the long run I'm not sure that it'll hold any ground.

I'm definitely hoping there's an "Add [x number] of minions to your zoo!" achievement once it gets out of beta because I'm shoving all the minions I get into it instead of trying to sell them, lol.

Not sure if the "cat lady" title would work, though, since it's gendered? Like on the one hand obviously those of us who don't want to be considered "ladies" can just use a different title, but I would be a little disappointed if a high-tier prize (as titles usually are) was useless to me.

I'm all for more quests :D As it is it only takes an hour to do every one but drills, so the more things to spend time on on subeta the better and it'd hardly be excessive to add 15 more.

If I have the time I like doing my quests so I unfortunately can't be against this. Minions also need to gain more value again so yeah I'd be okay with a Crazy Cat Lady quest.

Really like this idea, both because I'm always up for more quests to choose from and that forum title would be lovely to have~

My thoughts on this as well. I rather like the idea, and while other quests may ask for minions every now and again, I think a quest that sends us after minions exclusively would be nice.

I do wonder what the problem is... just because you think there are "too many quests" on the site? Or is it the economy you're worried about? I know we need more sP sinks, so this NPC could also ask for donations to care for needy minions and in exchange for x amount (100k+) you could be granted a random buff?

This would be a super cute idea! I mean sometimes I'm asked for minions by quests, but I am always concerned there's an alterior motive as to why they're asking for them lol!

The Minion Zoos should help to increase the value of tgem but I love the idea!

I find myself ambivalent about this. All items here are just pixels, they're all worthless. No item is worthless game-wise. The computer geek hadn't asked for Bits and Bytes items for years before he retired, yet those items are still around, too. They can be fragged and recycled, and once and get around to it most "special" rarity items will be re-classified.

OTOH the whole idea is pretty cute, a no-frag minion shelter is in keeping with the idea of Subeta as a virtual petsite. If a new quest grantor is created, the reward would have to be minimal sP like Alexander. Whatever NPC runs it can also ask for sP donations for Achievement levels or exemptions from taxation by Phoenix or something, independent of any quest. Because it's a charity and minions are soo kewt, right?

I like this aspect of the minion related quest idea. More Drills variety would be a good thing, and I like how it ties in with him asking us to feed the trapped ones too!!
