Can anyone confirm or deny that the zombie skins are saved once they reach full stage?

For example, I'd like to cure my HA and then contract a new bite to collect more skins.. will the love bug skin be available for use later?

I know they added that feature to the beta wardrobe but I'm afraid to remove my skin unless it'll work for sure because I love this skin :D

Would love the word of a mod on this one.. <3 maybe if you're around?

If it is in color on your skin page then it is unlocked for you.

I didn't get a site event for my previous one either, it just showed up in my skin section so I assumed it had grown full stage and started a new one (currently working on deathslug).

Edit: I wish someone would post the zombie stages, since they closed down that board way too soon. I would like to see what stage I'm in currently. :(
