Likely it was overlooked when the Experiment Only feature was added.

Maybe this should be considered a bug, cause it doesn't seem like something that would deliberately be removed (at least I hope not)

I second this! As I was in a rush to zap and zapped the wrong pet! D'oh! I would also like to add that if the confirmation isn't a priority, at least make it so that your active pet appears first!

Yes, please do this. I was not paying attention and zapped my nightmare Telenine into a dawn Kerubi by mistake. Although I fixed him back immediately, it's still annoying, especially since there isn't at least an active pet selection for default to at least make a safeguard against something like that (Hellmount was the pet I accidentally zapped, due to him being first in line, yet I meant to zap Stalfos, who is 13th in line).

I've gotten used to opening the list now, but I would still like to see the active pet option come back
