I checked my bank account and my tax return finally came! I'm super happy that I have some extra money in my bank account! I had my eye on this bag at Modcloth for months now and I decided to treat myself to it. I go to buy and come to find out, it's no longer available :( I've searched everywhere for this bag and I'm pretty sure it's gone forever. :(

Got no tax return but in summer I should receive repayment from my job, 50% I'm going to give my parents and for the rest I might get a new smartphone or a PS4, we'll see.

I've been looking but I really want the one I can't have, LOL. I've been looking at other bags, so I may get a different one. :P

I should be getting my tax return in a few weeks, putting $50 into savings and just keeping the rest in checking. Not planning on buying anything but it'll make all of the upcoming birthdays in my family hurt less :P

Oh gosh that is awful. That happens to me a lot. I always eye things that I want but never want to spend money, and then when I finally decide to just buy it...it's gone. xD

I was planning on saving my money because November killed my bank account omg. I had bought some games and Christmas presents and then SURPRISE my cell phone crapped out on me and I had to spend hundreds of dollars on a new one. (Okay I didn't have to but...I wanted the iPhone 5s since I've only had crappy Androids LOL) However, I think I'm going to buy a hard drive for my Xbox One since I'm just about out of space on it. That won't take up too much of my tax return lol.

Here's to hoping that that bag will miraculously appear on the internet somewhere to purchase! I take it you can't find it on Amazon or eBay either?

I paid some bills and then I am using the rest towards what I saved for my trip to Lexington Toy & Comic Convention in Lexington, Kentucky in a few weeks. ^_^ Going with a group of 11 of my bestest friends for the last 10 years. lol If I have anything left after that I might buy myself some more Sailor Moon Figuarts. All of my bills are paid on time so I really have nothing much to do with it this year. I just made an extra payment on each bill to feel responsible. lol Oh I also got my car a tune up too! More of that adult responsibility to make up for fun stuff. lol

Sometimes things from ModCloth that disappear will come back. There was a dress I wanted to get that disappeared from the site (not even 'out of stock' - it just wasn't there anymore). A few months later it came back and I was able to get it! If you bookmarked the link you might be able to request a notification if it comes back.

And congrats on the tax return! I completed all my forms and stuff last week and I was so pleased with the result. I'll probably just save it. Hopefully I'll be buying a car this year so I need the extra money!

I'm not going to be getting back as much as I thought I would. But then I just got a new job that pays well so I'm actually not worried about money for the first time in my entire life, so I'm not too upset about the small return. It's a strange feeling, being able to afford things that I want...and not small things either. I actually just bought myself an iPhone 6 that I'm in love with. And a NEW COUCH. I mean, WHAT?! Next on the list is a new computer, my first Mac! And then I can start thinking about getting a new car, maybe a Kia Soul or a Ford Fiesta.

I contacted someone from ModCloth, where I saw the bag, and she gave me the information on who makes it, where they got the bags, etc. It was super nice of them and very helpful, but alas, I couldn't find it. I hope that it will come back someday! It was originally ~$120, then they bumped the price down to ~$70. I'm kicking myself for not getting it. xD Oh well! It's good that you are putting some money in your savings account! I'm mainly just spending my tax return, lol. But I put about half in my savings, haha.

I'm sorry your phone died on you, but huzzah for iPhones! I got the iPhone 6 about a month ago and I love it. n.n I was desperately due for an upgrade, lol. It's always nice to treat yourself to new things, so I'm happy you got a super cool new phone, even if your old one crapped out, hah. And I searched all over amazon/ebay. No luck :(

I got my tax return a few weeks ago at this point-- two weeks? I also got a paycheck on the same day. So the tax return and more went into my savings for now. Around June, I'll likely use half of the tax return to buy plane tickets! Otherwise, I'm not sure if I'll keep what's left in savings or treat myself to something.

A really rare paintball gun that I've admired for some time. It belonged to someone else who would post pictures on a paintball forum I frequent, but he never got a chance to go out and play with it, so it stayed hanging on the wall as a display piece for a long time.

I know I shouldn't have bought it and should have spent my money on something more practical... but when the guy out it up for sale, I just had to have it. It was a really pretty toy.

I haven't done my taxes yet, but I know I won't be getting much since I quit my job and started college.

I spent most of mine on application fees for going back to school. I'm really nervous as I've been out for two years now and I feel like I'm going to fail but meh -_- Hopefully you can find it? I'm sure there has to be at least one somewhere on sale.
