Since it isn't being talked about more, maybe I'm the only one this is happening to? For the past several days every time I try to edit a post, it doesn't stick. I'll edit the post, and it will act like it's edited, then when I refresh my edit is gone. Some hours later, in the corner of the post it will say "last edited on date, time" etc, but the edit still isn't there.

Using firefox on windows 7.

Someone else said that sometimes their edits go through and sometimes they don't. I'll also edit this post to see if it works or not but I'm having major issues editing posts I've posted before.

Still won't let me edit, don't know if you'll receive this ping In case it works this time, the first time I tried to edit this post I wrote "edit testing" then I refreshed and it was gone again.

This has been happening to me too. I just assumed I was clicking cancel instead of edit >.> After I do it a second or third time, it works.

Thank goodness you understand my problem :/ I didn't mean to cause confusion on the other thread, I just cannot edit.

when I was unable to re-edit my previous post here I dropped Destiny a comment to tell her I got this error while trying to edit:

OKAY YES I'VE BEEN GETTING THAT ERROR TOO. Wait... no... mine was a little different. I know it said "Guzzle" it in at the end. I've only seen it a few times though.

Just copy before you click edit, just in case it doesn't go through.

since keith cleaned up some forum errors today, maybe this was fixed. I'm going to test by editing this post again with the words "edit testing". if it doesn't appear it's still not working for me

the first edit seemed to work but the edit info in the top of the post didn't appear. testing again to see if this second edit goes through

and for a third edit, my edits seem to be working again as far as I can see

I just had to edit a post three times before I could get my edit to stick what in the world :(

This happened to me today, and I lost the edit. Trying a second time worked, though.

I tried to make an edit earlier, which included pinging another user.

The edit isn't showing on my post in the thread. There's no timestamp for an edit either. But the edit shows if I check my recent posts, and the ping seems to have gone through too.

I'm trying to edit the thread in my signature, but the edits aren't going through. I've tried three times, but it just won't stick.

And now I can't edit this post?

I'm still having to edit a post three times with the same edit before it will go through.

If the board you're trying to edit a post in contains symbols (* - : ; etc) in the title, that is why. I'm not completely sure what symbols stop us from being able to edit, and it may be a different error, but I've noticed any time I have something other than letters in my CW title it won't allow me to edit posts.

That can't be the only issue, because it comes and goes for me. One day I can edit my deadline thread, and the next I can't. I can't find any pattern.

Didn't we have this same problem several months back?

I've had this crop up earlier today. I tried editing a post, looked like it had gone though, went back to the topic later when it had a new post and realized my edit had been erased.

I edited another post just now and it seems to have gone through fine and still shows up there after refreshing.
