What do I mean? If you search for items previously or currently available in certain various non-sp or sp site shops, you get a message like...

- new year's shop
- quest shop
- reading drive shop
- recycling center shop
- spindles shop
- the delphi moma gift shop
- the hut
- the pirate bay
- yun enterprises
But Murph, if people are ignorant about where items come from, it's not my fault if they buy them overinflated! They should know where the items come from! It's not the shop search's job to inform.
Yes, you could say that, but from the gigantic list of locations that ARE listed in the shop search for items (in my spoiler), it makes no sense to leave other shops out. Why have the MC linked and not The Delphi MoMA Gift Shop? Why have the Forum Shop linked but not the Quest Shop? Why have the Steamworks Menagerie linked but not L'amour's Parlor? It makes no sense to me.

I support this suggestion. It makes no sense for Shop Search to show the locations for some special shop items but not all of them.

I think this is a great idea! This would be super helpful to newer players who may not know about previous events or all of the different point shops (like quests). And it would prevent newer members from getting completely ripped off and ending up with hard feelings from the start.
The subQ makeup is a great example- many are not even available in SS, but they're pretty cheap in the shop and they're available all the time. I definitely support this suggestion.
The quest shop was showing up at some point but it broke again.

Yes please. It should cover everything or nothing. It's misleading to have it show things from some shops and not others.
I fully support this. Not only for the new member/pricing angle, but sometimes it's frustrating to have to rely on an outside site to figure out where something's from if you don't know/can't remember. It could be something easily available and you could even have the currency, but if you don't remember, 'oh well'? Shouldn't have to rely on an outside guide.
