The Bite option for those who have chosen their virus and are waiting to get bitten no longer can as the Bite button is disabled. Not only that, but zombies who are trying to help also have the same thing under ours, even though we're infected.

I'm actually having this issue too.. and it hasn't cleared up at all. The bite option was working for me last night but when I came online this morning, I ran into this problem.

Yeah, I noticed that someone wanting to be bitten has their bite button disabled. Like, it's giving the "thumbs up" but the word "bite" is faded out.
