I bought a 3DS with my tax money and I need more games for it.

I have: Pokemon X Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Animal Crossing (which I might sell back because I'm not a fan. It's my least favourite game) Nintendogs Mario and Luigi Dream World? (I think that's what it's called)

I'm going on a week long trip to Florida with my dad and my two siblings and I need some games that will keep me from killing them.

Any ideas?

- It depends on what type of game you're looking for. Take a look at the following:

-Fire Emblem Awakening -Any of the Zelda games -Super Mario 3d World

If you have online, Mario Kart 7 is fun.

There's also plenty of games in the eShop. You can also play DS games on the 3DS.

I forgot you can play DS games on the 3DS. That makes life easier.

I was going to download a few games to the DS as well. I just have no idea what I want because the last DS I bought was a DS Lite.

- Find some games that look interesting and research them online. That's what I would suggest doing so you're not buying random games that you end up not liking 5 minutes in.

Oh many, I've got loads of games I love for 3DS/DS.

First one I'd mention would be Monster Hunter, becauster 4 Ultimate has just been released! It's a really fun RPG where you have to kill or capture monsters!

An unusual game that I love is virtue's Last Reward - it's an interesting point-and-click type game with puzzles and riddles and such but with a very dark and bizarre story-line. There are lots of different endings to it too.

I also second the suggestion of Fire Emblem if you like traditional turn-based RPG/strategy.

I'll just list off some good 3DS games: Kirby's Triple Deluxe, Tomadachi Life (like the Sims but Nintendo-style), Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to infinity, Fantasy Life, Bravely Default and Persona Q If you're also looking at DS games: Trauma Centre: Under the Knife, Professor Layton (Both DS and 3DS), Drawn to Life, Children of Mana, Advanced Wars, Pokemon Conquest and all the original Phoenix Wright games.

For downloads -Shovel Knight is amazing and a masterpiece of 2D side-scrolling adventure games, reminiscent of the old days and I adore it. Pushmo is really fun if you like puzzles and super cute too. Dillon's rolling Wester is great if you like tower-defence games but want more action with them.

I could probably recommend more, but considering my collection takes up two memory cards and an entire shelf, I don't think I have the time haha! There's a lot of good games out there for 3DS, so just have a look and see what you like!

You are awesome for recommending VLR.

I agree with and . :)

  • Virtue's Last Reward (3DS) & 999 (DS) ~ visual novel and puzzles (mind-blowing games)
  • Fire Emblem Awakening ~ strategy RPG
  • Professor Layton ~ puzzles!
  • Ace Attorney series ~ visual novel First three games in the series are on the DS and there's one on the 3DS. In my opinion, the DS games are better. 8D
  • Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney ~ crossover if you like the two series on their own ^___^

Hope you find some fun ones! :D
