Is there a good anti freezer item? Trying to do battle quests but opponent keeps freezing my pet over & over. Thanks.

The only things that can keep you from getting frozen are blessings. The most effective is the blessing given by the and . The tear has a 5% chance of activating the blessing and the baguette has a 10% chance. Stack for better odds, though each crystal independently has chances of activating and it's not 3 baguettes= 30%.

There are several blessings with freeze protection on them. The mods that mentioned are one of the most reliable ways to get it. I would also like to add that has a 10% chance of giving a 3 round anti-freeze/steal blessing as well.

is a semi-breakable but strong shield, but also has a moderate chance of giving the same 5 round anti-freeze parched blessing as the parched tear/baguette mods do. Cancelling out the opponent's freeze with a freeze of your own can tide you over a bit.

Thanks for the info. I already have those crystals modified to my Infinite and will look into trying to get a shield. Appreciate the help.

Edit: Unfortunately the shield didn't work. I got frozen every single time I tried it and best I could do against General Error was tie. Darn. :(

If you can make one from the Battle shop tokens, a is a lifesaver against GE. It gives a guaranteed 2-turn anti-freeze blessing, and freezes the opponent. So use it first turn. You might get frozen as well, but he won't be able to chain you.

It is true that the shield doesn't always work (I think it's like a 30% or 40% chance of working). Unfortunately, on the first round, there is nothing to be done to protect against a freeze (or even a round in which the blessing is not active, even if it activates after that round). The best you can do first round against Error is to cancel out his freeze with a freeze of your own and hope an antifreeze blessing activates. Intricate energized helmet is nice in that it 100% freezes while activating a two turn anti freeze/steal blessing.

Thanks but I don't have the helmet. I made all the tech combos to create it but got to the last one, the augments, and don't have the intricate component to make it. That will take a while.
