* Infection not showing in Wardrobes or at Healer

I don't understand why my infection isn't showing. I should've been infected instantly as I paid the poor Terracoon from the 1st zapper an extra 25k. Right now I'm still a human.

you were refunded your 25k sp and should have received an event about it.
never got one. Is the option not working or not going to happen?
it wasn't working correctly at first but was fixed (at which point everyone who had already used it was refunded their sp - and i checked your logs and you were refunded - and sent an event).

I'm having the same problem. I used the 25k option almost three hours ago and nothing has shown up on my HA. According to my info that shows up when I post, I'm already infected and when I go to the VIP page, it tells me that my disease is still in its early stages and, therefore, I can't bite anyone. However, when I look at my naked HA, there's nothing there. I've even darkened my HA's skin tone because I know that one of the newer strains is REALLY hard to see in it's beginning stages.
i'm not sure if the zombie bases show up at all in the beta wardrobe, you might have to actually save your avatar without the clothes in order to see it.
I've tried saving my HA without clothes in the beta wardrobe as well as in the old wardrobe and I'm still not showing any signs of having been infected.
your ha is also still wearing clothes. i don't mean saving an outfit, i mean actually saving it to be what your ha is wearing.
Sorry about that, I actually removed my HA's clothes, saved it and then when I didn't see any infection, put clothes back on it.
ETA: Now if my cache would just catch up with me, this is my HA without clothes (and infection).
you have the same strain i do. you see that super tiny pink dot about halfway down the torso on the right on mine? it's really hard to see.
Thanks for letting me know. It must be a cache thing on my end because it's still showing my HA in an earlier outfit (it only shows updates in my wardrobe...sometimes).

I see it now too :D. I darkened my skin momentarily in the tanning salon and saw it.
I got bitten by someone who has Love Bug but nothing is showing? I would love to use the 25k feature but I'm afraid to try as I don't know if it will work as I was bitten, not voluntarily infected
EDIT: Somebody sent me a link so I could see my infection preview and it turns out I've got the carchari strain.
PS - I've just been to the Healer. The message reads - "Oh No! I could feel you coming, this is a strange virus. Below is a view of what you look like at the moment.."
The space below is completely blank.

I did the 25000 sp thing at the beginning when it apparently wasn't working properly. I did get the event saying I was refunded, but when I went back to the vip page to try again, it wouldn't let me do anything. I'm listed as infected on the forums but I can't find any sign of infection at all.
Is the healer thing working where it shows what you look like? Mine shows me as invisible, i.e. just a blank white image.

The Healer doesn't show anything either. I'm invisible at the Healer'd. All she says I'm infected. I want my Love Buuuùuuug!!!!! :/
