Hello, fellow Subeta users. I am looking to purchase a mermaid design. I say design because I don't have a reference as of yet. What I have are ideas that I'd like to see incorporated, but other things I am leaving up to artistic freedom. Yay. While I don't have a full reference, I have pictures that represent what I'd like. Hopefully that's cool.

So my mermaid is a typical mermaid. She likes exploring and is fairly curious. She doesn't desire to visit the world above the water, but will visit every nook and cranny below water. She has tan skin and long, blonde hair down in dreads similar to this picture here. Eyes are a dark blue, and her face is sort of long. Her mermaid tail sort of resembles a betta fish like this, but more flowy if that makes sense. It would also be blue and gold like this. She has gold scales on her hands with pointed fingers rather than fingernails. Sort of like claws? The scales go up to her wrist before tapering off. I'd like her mermaid top to be like this. She likes jewelry. So bracelets and necklaces would be fun. I think that's about all I wanted to mention.

C: unfortunately Ill be busy for about another month with school but Im hoping itll be a little less hectic after submitting my portfolio for a program, but anyway if you dont mind waiting, here is an example of what I drew for mymermaid OC (but this is like a super old example, I have newer art examples so feel free to look around, I will probably charge $12-15 for a fullbody regular style (it will have clean lineart and price will depend whether you want shading or not), or if you dont mind a chibi reference then I could do it for $8-10

Are you looking to purchase more than one reference of her or just an initial reference? o: I'd be interested but im not sure on pricing, and i have refs here Clickaroo! but from what i can picture from your refs i was thinking something a little more elegant. I can also draw up a sketch of kind of what i was thinking if you'd be interested ^-^ I also highly recommend She's a doll and an awesome artist!

normally I would sit back for a little since I work with you so much BUT I really really love drawing mermaids, oh my gosh

I had a mail from someone, and I am going to work with them for the initial reference of my mermaid. But! When that reference is done, I would love to commission the three of you for extra art of her. If you are all still open and have the time to do so, of course. I hope that's all right!

Hi! I'd also be interested. here is my deviantart. You can see my styles there ^v^ I can also do a super realistic portrait, but I'll chaged more than my usual prices. Something like this but with a much better quality and better finished (it's really old). My prices vary in what you'd like, but (fully colored, like my most recent examples, not the realistic portrait) go from 8usd to 40usd depending on what you'd like and how complex the desing is :_D (also in csc and sp of course)
