Hopefully this isn't a repeat thread (I didn't see it on the first few pages) C:

I used the new "experiments only" option of the pet zapper to zap Oceanaria and it zapped her from an Experiment into an experiment - so nothing actually changed. I'm thinking this must be a glitch?

It is possible to get a zap that doesn't change your pet because the zap changes it to something it already is. I've had Arid pets zapped Arid before. It's probably more likely to happen with Experiments Only since it's choosing from a smaller pool of options.

Most likely not a bug. Just one of those risks of zapping.
