My current battle set looks like this:

I've been lost since the tiers were implemented. Most of my weapons that I used regularly are like.. tier 7. I feel like I'm getting my ass kicked up and down the coliseum. I would prefer to not spend an arm and a leg to upgrade my set, but any help is greatly appreciated. c:

Keep: Malevolent Grimfruit, Bottled Tornado, Phoenix Quill Add: Bottled Ice (450k) - Cheap item that has a very high chance to freeze Massaquerade (750k) - Cheap weapon that does ~19 icons and heals 5% OR Replica Minotaur Knocker (~5.5m) - more expensive weapon that does ~23 icons and heals 5-6%. The Knocker will scale with your tier so it remains useful for a while. Recycle Blaster (600k) - Makes one of your opponent's weapons useless. Handy to remove a threatening weapon or just take less damage. Blackmoon Hand Blaster (1k) - Same idea but note that if you buy the Massaquerade you can't use them in the same set as they both take the "stealer" slot. Singed Stuffing Scroll (50k) - Cheap scroll that takes 7 AP and does damage / heals. Ignore if you already have a scroll like Divine Denizhen or Terra Focujin.

That is an improvement on your current set but not too fancy. Should keep you going until Tier 7 when you can use your other weapons.

In the future you should look to get items like Reviver of the Lion, Rainbow Vortex / Shinwas Temple Shard, Soma Tablets which are all over 30m. Hope it helps!

I find Tier 5 awkward because there aren't any stand-out weapons. Don't feel bad if you're getting lost, I think Tiers 6/7/8 are more fun!

Haha I have Massaquerade and the Minotaur Knocker, so I will definitely use one of those. I'll look into the others. I think I'm getting relatively close to tier 6, though! So I have that to look forward to.. Haha. I should have trained her more... xD Thank you so much for your help! <3

I agree with 's suggestions but I suggest you also get a Freezewand of Doom while they are still in the Millionaire Center. (The Freezewand and the rest of the winter stock will be switched on for the spring items on March 20th.) In the summer you'll be able to get the Reborn Wand of Doom and they can be combined at Genetech Lab for one of the best T6 weapons (in my opinion), the Reborn Icewand of Doom. Also, the Freezewand heals the exact same amount as the Grimfruit but with the additional bonus of a chance of freezing your opponent. I've been using Freezewand of Doom + Minotaur Knocker for my T5's main attackers. The Minotaur Knocker and Reborn Icewand of Doom is what I most commonly use for my T6s.
